Chapter 13

Ahsoka awoke, feeling two arms wrapped around her. She opened her eyes to see Lux, still asleep. She gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek, making sure not to wake him up. He looked so cute and peaceful while he was sleeping, and she didn't want to disturb him, not that she wanted to move from the position anyways.

She thought about the last six days. They had been the best six days of her life. The resort was amazing, situated in the Lake Country of Naboo, there were plenty of things to do and sights to see. Her and Lux had been to the beach almost every day, and had enjoyed walking around the town and shopping at the stands that lined the roads.

Ahsoka smiled as she remembered a necklace she had seen that she liked, but hadn't been able to afford herself. Lux had noticed this, and bought it when she wasn't looking, giving it to her as a surprise later that night.

She also remembered the painting class they had taken on their second day. Ahsoka was a natural, but Lux... not so much. She had painted a picture of the two of them sitting on the beach together, while he had attempted to draw a picture of her in her cloak when they first met on Raxus. They exchanged what they had made at the end of the class, even though his was crude, Ahsoka treasured it, because it was something that her love had made.

Lastly, she remembered their first night there, or what she could remember of it. She remembered going out for a beautiful dinner at a restaurant by the lake,  but not much after that. Let's just say she and Lux probably had a bit too much to drink during dinner, and their young bodies couldn't handle it as well. The next thing she remembered was struggling back to the room with Lux, and then... well... she didn't really know what happened after that. ( 😉)

That hadn't been the only night they'd had too much to drink either. Come to think of it, she couldn't completely remember what happened most nights, just bits and pieces. What she did remember though, was that she didn't regret anything. It had been the most fun and exciting time of her life.

Ahsoka sighed. She wondered how she was so lucky to have someone like Lux there for her.

Her sigh must have been louder than she thought, as she felt Lux stirring next to her. He opened his grey eyes after a few seconds and looked into Ahsoka's bright blue ones.

"Good morning beautiful," he said softly, kissing her on the forehead.

Ahsoka giggled, wrapping her arms around him, and erasing the space between their bodies. "I just want to stay like this all day."

"I do too, but it's our last day, and I have something planned," Lux responded.

"And what would that be?" she asked, giving him a quizzical look.

"It's a surpise," he replied, booping her on the nose.

Ahsoka huffed, and Lux just laughed. He knew how much she hated surprises, but that didn't stop him from doing it from time to time.

"Now let's get up and get dressed, we've got a long day ahead of us."

"But I don't wanna," Ahsoka pouted. "Five more minutes?" she begged, giving him a puppy dog look.

Lux just stared at her for a few seconds, neither of them backing down, but finally he broke. He knew he couldn't say no to that face. "Fine, 5 more minutes, but that's it. We have things to do today."

Ahsoka squealed in joy, and snuggled up closer to Lux. He couldn't help but give a little chuckle and smile, wrapping his arms around her tighter.

After the five minutes ended, Lux attempted to pull himself out of Ahsoka's grip, but that only made her hold on tighter. "Ahsoka, it's been five minutes, we need to get up and get ready."

"Five more minutes."

"No, we're not playing this game all day. I'd love to spend the day in here with you, but we can't," Lux said slightly irritated as he finally managed to pull away from Ahsoka. He wasn't more than a step out of the bed when suddenly his body was jerked to a stop and pulled back to the bed... past Ahsoka... and onto the floor.

"Ow," was all he could manage to say as his body collided with the floor.

Ahsoka covered her mouth and gasped in shock and horror. She hadn't meant for that to happen. She only wanted to playfully pull him back onto the bed, but it had been so long since she'd used the force like that, that her control was a bit... lacking.

She got out of the bed and knelt next to Lux. He was on the ground, face down not moving. "Oh my force Lux! I'm so so so sorry. I didn't mean to do that! I was just trying to be playful, but not having used the force like that, I don't have as much control anymore. Oh I'm so sorry, please be okay."

For a moment there was silence, then Lux burst out laughing. Ahsoka then realized he had been faking his injury, and was not happy. "Lux you idiot! I thought you were seriously hurt. Never do that to me again," she said as she turned away from him, crossing her arms.

"Oh come on, I was just messing around," he said as he scooted towards her. He wrapped his arms around her from behind, and rested his head on her shoulder. He could feel her lekku heating up, he knew he had won this one. "Now come her and give me a kiss," he pointed to his lips.

Ahsoka turned to him, and kissed him on the cheek before getting up from his grasp and running away towards the bathroom.

"Hey! That's not what I meant," he exclaimed as he got up and chased after her. However, she was too fast and beat him to the bathroom, locking the door behind her, still laughing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Ahsoka, wait up! You don't even know where we're going!" Lux shouted ahead to Ahsoka, causing her to stop.

"Oh... yea."

They had been making their way through the forests of Naboo for about an hour, and Ahsoka had begun to get restless. Lux couldn't count how many times she had asked "Are we close?" or "Where are we going?" In the last 20 minutes alone.

He quickly caught up to her, and took her hand. Ahsoka opened her mouth, probably to ask again, but Lux cut her off by answering first, "Based on what Padme told me, we should be close."

Ahsoka's face lit up, as she began to try to run off, again, but Lux held her hand firmly and didn't let her go. "Uhm Ahsoka, it's this way," he said giving out a small laugh and pointing in the opposite direction she had attempted to go.

"So where are we going anyways?" Ahsoka asked.

"Padme told me about it before we left, she said her and her sister used to come here with their friends when they were young, and told me to check it out. That's all I'm going to tell you."

Ahsoka sighed, but immediately began to walk again once Lux did. She was excited to see where they were going, but also eager to get there.

After about 15 more minutes of walking, Lux stopped. Ahsoka hadn't noticed, so when she continued waling, she was jerked back by Lux's hand, and promptly fell to the ground.

"OW," she yelped, "What the hell Lux?"

He hadn't even noticed what had happened, but looked to see Ahsoka sitting on the ground. "Oh, sorry Ahsoka, but I think we're here. It's just up this hill."

Upon hearing this, Ahsoka sprung up and started to run up the hill. "Last one there's a rotten djeba!" Ahsoka shouted.

Lux had no clue what a djeba was, but he certainly didn't want to let Ahsoka win. Sadly, she won fairly easily. She turned around and stuck her tongue out at him in a childish manor.

"No... fair," Lux said between breaths, "you got a... head start."

She laughed. "Lux, d'bhem, I would've won even if I gave you  a head start." Lux didn't respond, as he was looking in awe at something behind her. She began to turn around "Lux what are you–" she stopped as she finally saw what he saw.

On the other side of the hill was a meadow filled with beautiful flowers of all different colors and sizes, that led down to a crystal clear pond, that had a waterfall pouring water into it from above. It truly was breathtaking. She was certainly glad that she had gotten out of bed that morning.

She was so engrossed in the beauty of the area, that she didn't see Lux take off running towards the water. Once she finally realized, she took off after him, determined not to lose. She beat him to the edge of the water by a few steps, but was going too fast and didn't realize how close the4 water was. She ended up running right into the water.

Lux began to laugh hysterically at this. "You may have beaten me, but at least I'm not looking ridiculous in the water in full clothing."

Ahsoka smirked. "Let's change that then, shall we?"

Lux looked confused for a second, then realized what she was talking about. He threw off his backpack, and began to run in the opposite direction, but it was too late. Ahsoka already had him in her grasp via the force and was slowly lifting him up and towards the water. Once she had brought him above the water, she let go and he fell into the water.

Now, it was Ahsoka's turn to laugh, but after a few seconds, he hadn't resurfaced. Ahsoka began to worry that she had taken it a bit too far again, but soon felt a tug on her ankle and was pulled under the water. She resurfaced to a smirking Lux.

"Oh so that's how you wanna play huh?" Ahsoka asked sending a burst of the force towards the water, creating a wave of water. She disappeared under the water, and surfaced behind Lux, unbeknownst to him. She quietly swam up behind him and pushed his head under the water. This continued on for a while, before they both began to tire, or, more accurately, Lux tired.

They sat silently in the water, Ahsoka resting on Lux's chest as they floated around. They weren't in that position for long before Ahsoka's stomach growled.

"Uh guess I'm a bit hungry," she laughed sheepishly.

"Not to worry, I brought some food in my backpack," Lux replied.

They made their way to the bank of the pond. Lux walked over to his backpack, and pulled out some food and a blanket. He spread the blanket on the ground.

"What about our clothes?" Ahsoka asked Lux. "They're soaked."

"Not to worry m'lady," he replied, pulling out an extra set of dry clothes for each of them. "I figured we'd probably end up in the water, so I packed a change of clothes for each of us."

He handed Ahsoka the dry clothes. Ahsoka looked around, but there was no cover for her to change in. Her lekku started to heat up, even though her and Lux had been together this long, and had seen each other before, she was still hesitant to show her body. She wasn't exactly in love with her body.

"Lux, turn around please," Ahsoka asked sheepishly.

Lux obliged, as he knew how Ahsoka felt about her body, despite his insisting that it was fine and her body was perfect the way it was. He took this time to change as well. Once he was done changing, he turned around, but quickly realized that she had not finished as he had. Instead of looking away, his eyes wandered, looking her up and down, as he had on Raxus. She realized he was looking, and quickly finished getting dressed.

"Lux! I told you to turn around!" she huffed angrily.

"I'm sorry, I finished changing quicker than you and turned around, but you know, you're not bad at all," he said with a wink.

She smiled and rolled her eyes. "Well seems like some things never change."

Ahsoka headed over to the blanket and sat down. Lux followed shortly behind her, and took out the food he had brought. He pulled out some sushi, along with a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread. He handed the sushi to Ahsoka and she took a few pieces, while he broke the bread and gave her a piece. He then filled up two glasses with win, and handed one to Ahsoka. They ate in silence, as both were famished from a long day of hiking and swimming.

Upon finishing, Ahsoka turned to Lux. "Thank you for this Lux, this truly has been an amazing day. I wish it didn't have to end."

"Oh don't worry pulchra, it's not quite over yet."

Lux stood up and grabbed her hand, leading her up to the top of the cliff where the waterfall flooded into the pond. "Padme told me if you sit up here, you can see the sun set down below the flowery hill. She said it's one of the hidden gems of Naboo."

Once they reached the top, Lux motioned for Ahsoka to sit down next to him. She obliged and plopped down next to him, still holding onto his hand, and resting her head on his shoulder. They sat like this, in a comfortable silence for a few minutes until the sun began to set.

It was as amazing as Padme had said, and then some. The sky was streaked with all sorts of colors, as the sun from the light collided with the clouds. The purples and yellows and oranges contrasted perfectly with the blue of the sky.

"Wow, it really is beautiful," Ahsoka gasped.

Lux smiled, "Not as beautiful as you though."

Ahsoka turned to him with a smile and brought him into a kiss. Their passion and love for each other exploded like the colors of the sunset. This was the perfect ending to the perfect week.
