Sylph's POV
I collapsed on a bench after running for God knows how long and how far.
After regaining my composure, I scanned my surrounding only to find out I'd run all the way to the town park
The park is ver large and has a fairytale-like look to it. It boasts a fountain, a playground and many sculptures.
Of course, I realized all this after rubbing my eyes and squinting.
I sat down in silence, completely overrun by boredom.
Normally, there would little kids everywhere but it's a Sunday so everyone's either at church, doing homework or something else.
Even with terrible eyesight, I could see there were a few children here and there but not enough to say everywhere.
I wonder where Armin is.
Armin's POV (Yes, the POV we've all been waiting for!)
I'm not sure but I think Sylph's favorite color is green.
It's the color of her hair and eyes so that's probably it
But then again, it could be pink.
Before we met, I'd seen Sylph walking around with her sisters, smiling, laughing and wearing a pink scarf. She doesn't wear it anymore. It probably got ruined.
Maybe I should get her a scarf instead of a new pair of glasses.
But, I can't let Sylph strain her eyes any longer so I guess I'm going with glasses.
Still, pink or green?
Pink.
"That one." I said, pointing at the pair of glasses on the top shelf. The staff member nodded and reached up to get it.
As he did so, I couldn't help but notice he was incredibly tall and muscular, not to mention blond like-
"Reiner?!" I exclaimed in surprise, upon realizing who it was. Reiner had just taken hold of the glasses when I yelled his name.
The said boy smiled sheepishly and handed me the glasses. "So who are these for? A girl?" He asked in a suggestive manner.
I blushed fifty shades of red and shook my head vigorously. "I-It's not like THAT!" I exclaimed.
Reiner chuckled and slapped my back. "Cool down, I'm just messing with you. But it is for a girl, right?"
I nodded slowly and Reiner suddenly threw his arms in the air, cheering and shouting something about a ship and how the impossible had become possible.
Seriously, what do ships have to with anything?!
And what does he mean by 'the impossible has become possible' ?
I simply shook my head and sighed, I don't think I'll ever understand anybody but Sylph.
"That's $150." Reiner said immediately after he stopped laughing.
I didn't scream or anything because, I knew this would cost a lot but this is for Sylph.
"I'll take it!"

It was a long, grueling process but I finally managed to guess Sylph's prescription and bought the correct lenses. For someone with eyesight as horrible as her's. I'd guessed her prescription was about - 6.5 or something like that.
It took another long time before I finally found Sylph, sitting on a bench in the town Park. I smiled and sat down beside her, she didn't react. It's either she sleeps with her eyes open or she's thinking of something.
"Hey, Sylph." I greeted.
Sylph yelped and turned to face me. What I assumed to be an embarrassed blush rose to her cheeks as she greeted back. "H-hi, Armin."
I smiled again and forgot all about why I was here in the first place.
"Wait, I got you something!" I exclaimed upon realizing my other purpose for being here.
"What is it?" Sylph asked. I smiled for the third time today before presenting he'd with the pink pair kid glasses I'd spent so much on.
Sylph's eyes widened in amazement when she caught sight of them and then she smiled.
"Thank you, Armin." She said. I simply smiled, again, and helped her put them on.
She blinked once or twice but never once questioned how I got her prescription right. "Armin, how did you know my favorite color was pink?" She asked.
"That pink scarf you used to wear."
For a split second, Sylph looked as if she were about to cry but nodded slowly instead.
"Armin, I think it's only fair that you should get something too." Sylph said as a blush rise to her cheeks.
"What is it?" I asked.
Sylph leaned over and placed a kiss on my cheek then I too was blushing.
Sylph looked away with a shy smile and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.
We sat in silence for a while before a little kid, looking no older than four, ran up to us.
"Are you two a couple?" He asked.
Sylph and I blushed a new shade of red and shook our heads vigorously.
The little kid sighed in disappointment. "But can you kiss?!" He asked, hope returning to his features.
Sylph looked just about ready to faint and I shook my head as a reply.
The kid was about to say something else before a women, probably his mother, swooped in.
"I'm sorry about that." His mother apologized for him.
Sylph nodded slowly and I did the same.
"Jace, say you're sorry." His mother nodded.
Jace looked down.
"N-no, it's alright." Sylph said, regaining some of her composure.
The woman nodded and left with Jace.
The silence returned and the two of us just sat there, completely overrun with boredom.
Sylph suddenly stood up and grabbed my hand. "Let's go on the swings." She suggested, I nodded and stood up, never once letting go of her hand.
Sylph and I occupied one swing each and just sat there moving back and forth.
There were a few people mumbling about us being a cute couple, we didn't react, by now we should be getting used to it.
"Sylph?" I asked grabbing her attention.
She turned to me
"Can I m-maybe get your number."
When I asked that, I swear Sylph was practically glowing as she hurriedly pulled a pen out of her pocket, a pare out of the other, and scribbled her number on it before handing it to me.
"Don't forget to call me." Sylph said, getting up from the swing.
"Where are you going?" I asked
"Home." She replied to which I nodded and waved.
"Bye, Sylph!"
"Bye, Armin!"
