Battle for Wakanda

This part is based on the battle with the Outriders from the Infinity War trailer. The guy at the end is Corvus Glave. Just thought I'd say that now so that you know who I'm talking about when I say "tall, pale man with a flat face"

The shrill wail of a violin rose above sounds of fighting. Gallia and Jack stood far back from the battle. Gallia launched lines of fire into the sections where no allies fought while Jack protected them with shields of vibrational energy gathered from the sounds around them.

Flashes of green lightning wove between the monsters faster than most could follow. The source of this lightning was Skye, fighting hard for a country that wasn't her own. She kept glancing back toward where T'Challa and Okoye fought.

Shuri and Saila stood behind the army, sending people armed with powerful explosives or technologically advanced weaponry.

Saila tossed a fire bomb to Shuri, who handed it off to the nearest soldier. "I'm going to check the battlefield," Saila called before dashing off.

An electronic crackle reached her ears as Calculo glitched after her. The pair stopped on top of a large boulder across the battlefield from where Shuri stood. It was a dangerous plan to stand behind enemy lines relatively unprotected, but it was the best vantage point they had.

Calculo's clothes flickered, changing constantly. Ones and zeroes blinked to life around him as he surveyed the battle. "It does not appear to be going in our favor," he said, his voice deep and sounding a bit hollow.

Saila looked at him with one eyebrow raised. "I'm so glad I brought your computerized genius with me. I really hadn't noticed."

Calculo didn't look at her. His eyes clicked, focusing on one section of the fighting. Saila followed his gaze. Neither one noticed a tall, pale man with a flat face come up behind them until an odd spear slashed Calculo's back.

"Calculo!" Saila cried as the synth collapsed. She crouched over him and quickly assessed the damage to his circuits. She looked up, her eyes full of fury. "You spineless mongrel," she growled.

The man smiled evilly. "Ah, let's not get to the name calling so fast, my dear mechanic," he purred.

A fire flared to life in Saila's hands. "Oh, you picked the wrong mechanic to mess with, flatface."

The man made no move to stop her, only smirked. Saila hesitated, and in that instant of pause, the man stabbed his spear stabbed into her chest. He twisted slowly before yanking the spear out. Saila's fire vanished and she howled in pain. She fell beside her synth, pressing her hands to her chest.

The wound started to heal, but she was still losing blood fast. Saila cursed in Spanish, her words barely more than a breath. The man laughed and leaned on his spear, watching her. "Thanos is looking forward to meeting you, mutant daughter of Hephaestus."

Saila's hands fell to the ground and her head dropped. She fought against the blackness threatening to overwhelm her. Gods protect me. Was her last thought before she fell unconscious.
