you heard right, I'm talking about touya and oh boy, i have a lot to say!

since holidays started i have enough time to try and get enough evidence of all the shit I'll be talking about (so i might make a part two because, yk, watty)

i firstly have to say something to all the apologists-
.. really? like, you heard all the shit he said and think he's at no fault? really? (my inner rezo intensifies) reeeeeally???

that dude literally tried to kill a baby because that kid had two hair colours-🧍🏻‍♂️

"because I'm your son", touya knew exactly what he was doing, that won't change as much as you don't want to release that.
he knew how burned he got and he knew what he was doing.
it is enji fault for drilling into him that he'll be a hero, but enji did explain to him on multiple occasions for years already, that he hurts himself and that he doesn't want him to get hurt.
thus, also showing how he never trained touya like he did shouto. enji loved touya with everything he had, that's why he tried to stop him in such a cruel way. i assume because he wanted him to hate him so that he wouldn't want to be a hero anymore.
he gave him everything he had when he was younger, enji loved his kids in the start, he also wasn't abusive in any physical way as it gas never been shown that he was.
his fault was it to abruptly stop showing anything and stop being with them, he did it because he cared - obviously, otherwise he would've never been as mad and angry about touya hurting himself - but touya never saw it as that, he thought his father didn't care anymore because he couldn't be a hero.
and he wouldn't understand no matter the times enji explained it to him.
because he was a child, that was why he kept training beyond hurting himself, etc. etc.

all that does not excuse him trying to kill his little brother tho- he is one of the worst people in this anime, up in the top ten with enji himself, afo, all might, the whole hero commission, etc.
you guys know who i mean. the self-centred, abusive, manipulative, hero- and/or victim-complex having assholes in this series
(am also debating if i should put mitsuki up there).

that man is by NO MEANS in the right, nothing he has done was okay? killing humans is never okay, so how do you want to excuse that? he killed multiple people without any good reasoning. he's crazy, yea, but behind that? a fully functional human, he knows what he doing. he's fully aware that non of that is okay!

also- the whole "yea but he's hot!".. no? my dudes ugly asf, y'all mad he looks even worse in the anime even tho that makes more sense because that jaw ain't his, so it wouldn't make sense if it actually fitted his face. all that purple skin and his jaw ain't his, and his body is rejecting it, that's why it's rotting and falling off, that's why it's burned asf bro, because it's even less fitted for a fire quirk then himself.
literally look at him:

he was literally supposed to die in less then a week, that was literally stated a little later from dr.ojiko himself, the man who kept him alive all those years, also hinting to touya now being a nomu of some sort like tomura and kurogiri.
but that doesn't even matter rn-

touya is crazy, deadass crazy, he's been obsessed over his father like his father was over shouto, but in an kinda different way.
he wasn't stoppable, just like his father, but he went crazy along the way, not like endeavour.
also stated later in the chapter from dr.ojiko as well

even all for one couldn't control his unhealthy obsession over his father.

he's bat shit crazy, okay? he's the worst of the worst and i have to repeat again, it's not completely enjis fault. and i also have to say, that even rei is at fault here, while yea, she had a lot to do, she also had to care for touya.
I don't want to blame her the same way touya did or acting as if she solely is as much at fault like endeavour, no, she's not, but she did do things wrong.
just because she was abused herself later on, doesn't mean she was a great parent. someone had to say it. sorry. (she's still not a great parent btw just like endeavour)

so, ig that was most i had to say regarding to himself and his actions in the past-
now let's move on to all the different ways he wronged shouto, in fandom and canon (no i won't take pre reveal fandom touya in account, just post).
let's start with the whole "i know how you feel / he trained me as well" ordeal..
no. just plain old no, you do not know how he feels and you weren't trained like him.
because of you he was sheltered from his siblings that didn't hate him because enji didn't want him to get hurt from them as well, because how should he know how they feel (*cough* ask *cough*).
he wasn't trained, he was BEATEN, fucks sake- we have multiple chapter where it is shown that he's throwing up and covering on the ground (including the one where touya went "they moved on from me"), while you were literally lightly sparring with him.
.. he has never done anything to you. never. he just existed and hated training and never wanted to be the number one hero or his fathers favourite, and you hated him for that. for being your fathers favourite. for getting beaten.
and you always KNEW how wrong you were, that makes me so mad.

shouto had it much worse then he did, he is literally the reason why everything went down hill, sorry to say so, but it is like that.
because he was a self-centred brat, it started that enji abused rei, and even then, shouto was the one trying to protect his mother, not him, because he never cared about saving people, he just wanted to be a hero because his father was.
shouto has been nothing but a kind to him, tried his best, even made a whole ass technic to not kill him in no way, but to save him even if it costs his own life. and he still doesn't get it, he's crazy, i know, but still?

shouto deserved so much better then getting compared to him. he is the kindest character in this whole series, he's the one carrying around first aid, he's the one trying to save before fight, he's the one who got hurt so bad all his life and still wants to become a hero.

touya is an asshole, and period. you can't make him likeable in any way, the only time he was just a little bit okay was in chapter 350 after his three year coma, because he actually cared for once.
but then there was the whole him getting home and just.. look at it yourself.

idk how i really feel about this, I'm so mad and frustrated- in german I'd say "so nah und doch so weit entfernt" and i think that fits. he nearly got it, and then he saw it and only thought of himself.
his father has never "trained" him like this, he never looked so enraged and frustrated.

he did so much wrong that no one else can be blamed with. shouto suffered so much because of him and I'll never forgive touya for that.
he can reveal as much of his past as he wants, it won't change that he is who he is now because of himself.
i believe it wasn't easy living on the streets for years, but that will never outweigh all the bad he's done. his past will never come up for everything he's done.
nothing justifies killing or hating like that. the least i can understand is why he would never think of how other people might feel, but ig he's just like daddy. like he said, he's just like his father.

maybe I'm overlooking certain things, but I've never understood why natsuo liked touya so much, was it really just because he was a little child and didn't know any better or to grasp any of the bad things touya has done or tried to do?
and fuyumi, she surely must remember touya attacking shouto when he was just born, she's just a year younger then him. she at least must've been seven or eight.
but ig that's just her, she's shit as well but on a different level then touya or enji.
.. this ain't about her anyways so whatever.

it's just, touya makes me really mad on so many level, but I've been rambling for 1500 words already so imma just stop here-
