I actually read a fanfiction that included this, it had Chris die during the Giant war, and Percy helped Clarisse deal with it. They ended up becoming closer and I'm sure you can make a pretty good guess of what ended up happening.  So to get to the point I do kind of ship this, as strange as that may sound.  It's certainly not my otp but I don't mind it.
