This is a pretty good ship.  These two get along pretty well and Edd only excludes Tom when Tord is around.  They both don't like Matt much, are obsessed with a certain drink, have common sense when needed, and are pretty lazy.  I think it would work, although I still prefer EddMatt but honestly it's not canon.
