Stranger things is a series that's genre of mystery and thriller. And a science fiction horror web television series made by the duffer brothers and released on Netflix.

Might watch that soon maybe. Dunno. Probably, maybe?

Why is stranger things going downhill? And why do people say: "it's a toxic fanbase." Well so did some digging on that, People in the fanbase overly sexualize young actors and project romantic feelings covering Finn Wolfhards instragram post in comments of how hot he is, and how they want to be his quote on quote, "mommy" and it was happening during the Season 2 release and I believe or heard some actors deleted their social media accounts.

. I kinda feel bad for the actors. :/

Another thing was that fans always kept comparing actors to one another.

Theres time where you should maybe compare actors and putting them against each other for fun? I think all actors are unique, in their own way, even maybe one of them were dipshits in the series. there's boundaries and lines when it gets crossed. Appreciate the actors since they act in a show you all are eager to enjoy.

Another reason was the shipping.

Fans constantly argued ships over like: " Byler' aka Will and Mike and 'Mileven', aka Mike and Eleven.

And fans shipped millie and Finn, which made things awkward for them. And Mille told the fans that, " "we are just really good friends, and that's all we'll ever be." But fans didn't take that and just continued to argue over each other with the ships and their own person.

And imma say my own opinion, that it's ok if you ship people(real life) but don't go overboard like septiplier, (jacksepticeye And markiplier) they were fine with the ship at first since it was for fun, no harm right? but people kept shitting in the pool ruining things for people, and did things that they didn't want. Like drawing art fucking each other, and going overboard. And because of that, it wasn't fun anymore.

I don't mind if you ship two people but it's important if they're comfortable with it. And if they tell you to stop. Just stop.

There are also tweets which are probably irrelevant but I wanna add them since they might relate to the whole thing.

People left because of the toxic environment and drama. And people who shits in the pool to ruin it for everyone.

Other reasons why stranger things a toxic fanbase?

People don't realize that their actions can have a negative impact on people.

People became to the point so obsessed and hardcore and when someone gives criticism and doesn't like the show and such. They'll easily get offended.

And you know the more devoted fans, the louder on the platform.

Same said for the ships.

But anyways that sums up stranger things,

Well the good redeeming points are that I think the show is probably great, and actually there are some fans who make good fanart and are accepting of criticism and are chill people.

I'm probably gonna watch it soon.

Which might be like a 100 years or more. TwT

Edit: I already watched it. Imma redo the redeeming points, stranger things is a fantastic thriller show that has tons of elements and if you into the supernatural you'll like it to! I do think stranger things fandom isn't really that bad uwu
