"Jim Moriarty, do you mean what I think you mean?" You said teasingly with a grin as you got up from the couch. You knew you should've been angry at him for locking you in that room, but you just couldn't resist him.

"The last actual boyfriend I had was abusive and a liar and a cheater. We broke up over a year ago and I've just never really felt like dating since then because I'd lost my trust in people. That is until I met you." You admitted shyly. His eyes clouded over with anger.

"Wait, he hurt you? Like physically?" He asked you, anger obviously seeping into his calm voice. You nodded and pulled the blanket down a little and pointed to a little scar on the back of your shoulder and explained how he had once throw a bottle at you in a fight and it cut you when it shattered on the wall behind you, along with telling him that you'd been slapped, smacked, and punch countless times whenever he got drunk which was often. "I'm gonna kill him! With my bare hands. What's his name?!" Jim asked through gritted teeth as he started to get out of the bed.

"Jim, calm down, please." You said softly as you grabbed his arm to stop him from getting up. "He's not important anymore, please don't make a fuss over this." Deep down you were glad he was this protective of you and cared so much about you, but you didn't want him to kill someone for you.

Jim sighed, anger still present in his body language and in his eyes, but he laid back down, "Fine, maybe I won't do anything right now, but don't think I'll forget about this." He said as he calmed himself down some. Jim kissed you as he wrapped his arms around you and whispered, "I'm never going to let anyone hurt you ever again, okay (y/n)?" You smiled at him and cuddled up against his chest as you both fell asleep entangled in each other arms.

That is until there was a knock on the door about an hour later. "Boss, I'm back with some news. I sent you a few texts but you never responded so I came to check on you." Seb said through the bedroom door. Jim had woken up first  and got up, waking you up in the process, and hurriedly put his clothes back on and threw you yours. After the two of you had all yours clothes on again Jim opened the door.

"Well, thanks for making sure I'm fine, but everything is okay. We just fell asleep." Jim told him as you walked over to the door, still fixing your hair.

Seb looked back and forth between you and Jim and started laughing, "Oh, ok, I understand what happened." You looked at the floor, your face flushed with red as you blushed, but Jim just laughed with Seb.

"Well, what was that news you mentioned?" Jim asked while walking out of the bedroom, you followed close behind. The three of you went back downstairs to the living room.

"Sherlock is slowly putting all the pieces together so we'll probably be meeting up tomorrow if not tonight." Seb explained along with giving Jim an update of their plans, most of it confusing to you because of all the codewords and names he used, but you guessed whatever happened was good because Jim was smirking when he was through talking.

I am so sorry for such a long wait! Please forgive me, I've been sorta depressed lately and with the holidays happening I never got too much time to write, but it's finally done.

I hope this wasn't too cringy but I've never written smut before nor had any experiences like this in real life so all I had to go off of was other fanfics that I've read. Hopefully the next chapter will be easier to write and will be updated quicker.

Some of you may have gotten my notification about my second fanfics I'll be writing about Chris Trott, and if not it's on my page. But like I said this fanfic will always come before the second one unless something comes up.
