Pakhi went outside of airport with her luggage and saw a young man holding a banner of her name. She went there "Hi I am Pakhi Oberoi. I hope you are here to pick me up!" The driver smiled at her and nodded his head. He then guided her towards a black Range Rover and after putting the luggage in the car, started driving towards Arjun's penthouse.

After around 30 mins, the car stopped in front of a very posh building. Pakhi was impressed seeing the building. Her brother's friend is loaded like him she thought chuckling. The driver asked the security man to drop her and her luggage at the top floor. A boy of around her age was waiting for her "Hello Mam. My name is Amit and I am the servant here. Sir informed me to settle you in your room. He wanted to personally welcome you but he is busy with an office problem so he will meet you in evening.Till then please relax" Pakhi was really touched by Karan's friend's gesture. He must be really close to her brother that's why he is caring so much for her. Amit guided her towards the guest room and kept her luggage there "Mam please rest till our sir comes. If you need anything please inform me"

She nodded her head thanking him. Still it was time for the owner to come so she  decided to take a small nap. After sleeping for an hour, she woke up and took a long relaxing bath. After getting dressed, she arranged her clothes in the walk in closet and went out to explore the penthouse. Amit spotted her and gave her a glass of juice "Mam I have squessed fresh oranges. Please have this juice. You want anything else with it?" Pakhi shook her head "No Amit juice is just fine, thank you" She sat on the kitchen chair and started drinking her juice when her gaze fell on the picture of a small kid. Seeing the picture, the kid seemed to be around two years. She faced Amit and asked "Who is the kid in the picture Amit?"

Amit smiled broadly at her "He is Rahil Mam. He is our sir's son" Pakhi nodded her head "He is so cute. How old is he?" Amit replied "He turned two last month"

After drinking the juice, she went to explore the penthouse. It had an amazing view of the sea and it was very large with all the amenities. She was in awe of the place. The owner was indeed lucky to have such a beautiful house in the middle of Mumbai city. She heard the voice of a lady and a baby talking. Curiously she went towards that direction and saw a lady of around 45 to 50 years talking to that small baby Rahil. He was  not drinking the juice and she was convincing him to drink. Pakhi went near them and asked the lady "Can I try?" The lady smiled kindly at her and handed her the glass. Pakhi took the glass and turned towards Rahil "Hey baby you don't like this juice?" Rahil looked at her curiously "Who you?" Pakhi kept the glass on the side table and faced Rahil "My name is Pakhi. What is your name?" Rahil cutely answered her in his baby voice "Me Rahil" Pakhi chuckled hearing him and pulled his cheeks softly "You are so cute Rahil" Then she pouted at him "I don't have any friend so will you be my friend please! I like you" Rahil thought for a while and then gave a toothy smile to her and extended his hand forward towards her gesturing her to shake it and become friends. Pakhi took his hand and gently tugged him towards her so he sat on her lap. Rahil happily sat in her lap. Then she asked him "Friend why don't you drink this orange juice. I drank it just now and got instant energy like Superman. You know Superman?" Rahil nodded proudly at her "Me Superman know. Batman Rahil favourite" She made an O "Ohh is that so! I have heard that Batman likes orange juice very much. If you want to become like him then drink this juice fast" Rahil looked admiringly at her "Really me drink juice and become same Batman?" Pakhi nodded her head and then made him drink the juice.

Mrs. Nair who was standing there looking at them said "So you are Pakhi Oberoi? Karan sir's sister?" Pakhi nodded her head at her. Mrs. Nair smiled at her "I am Mrs.Nair Rahil's nanny. Sir told about that you are coming today. You are very good with kids Mam. Rahil baby doesn't listen to any stranger this easily. He even did friendship with you" Pakhi smiled hearing her "Actually I have two small niece and nephew so I guess my experience for them helped me with Rahil" She played with Rahil for some more time.

Pakhi was totally in awe with Rahil after playing and talking with him. According to her, he is loaded with cuteness. His parents are so lucky to have a kid like him. Suddenly she felt the presence of a person behind her. Rahil saw Arjun and stood up and ran towards him "Pa! Me new friend" Arjun saw Pakhi sitting with her back turned towards him. His heart started beating rapidly. She was finally here with him. He took a deep breath and kissed Rahil on his forehead "That's nice baby. Come let me too met your new friend!" Pakhi sat frozen hearing Arjun's voice. She couldn't move. Her mind became blank.

Her body jolted when Arjun came and sat in front of her. So he was Karan's friend. How come she didn't ask him before coming. She should know it would be none other than Arjun. How can she be so stupid. Arjun saw stunned expression on her face. He gave a smile to her "Hello Pakhi. How was your journey?" Pakhi snapped out of her thoughts and frowned at him "You knew that I was coming?" Arjun confusedly nodded. She picked up her phone and called Karan "Bhai you told me that I will be staying at your friend's house but you didn't mention it was none other than Arjun" Karan replied from other side "What difference it makes Pakhi if you are living in Arjun's house or my any other friend's home? I thought you know Arjun so would be comfortable living there"

Pakhi sighed "Bhai you should have told me before. I will find a temporary place tomorrow morning for myself" Arjun panicked hearing her. He won't allow her to go. Karan argued "No Pakhi don't you dare do that. I will not allow you to live anywhere. If you are not comfortable living with Arjun then please give me few weeks time. I will arrange a residence for you. Till then I request you to live there please. Mom and dad will also be worried if you move" Pakhi huffed frustratingly "Ok but find a new place for me as soon as possible" Saying this she disconnected the call and got up to go in her room. She turned towards Rahil and said "Baby I am tired so I will play with you again tomorrow ok?" Rahil nodded at her and continued playing with his toys.

Without giving a look to Arjun, she left the room. Arjun sighed and thought it was more difficult to pacify her than he thought. He needs to work harder but he won't give up on her this time. He decided to leave her alone for some time. He will talk to her after dinner.
