Tani's POV

"What happened Tani, everything alright?" Sami asked concerned.

"Yeah, I am fine." I gave him a light smile.

"You don't mind late night walk with me or do you?" He asked again.

"No, no. I don't." I bowed my head while answering him.

"You can share everything with me, remember nah?" He stopped me and said while looking into my eyes.

"Yeah, I know." 

"Then why are you avoiding me?"

"Sami, please, I am just... enjoying this weather, can't you just stop asking me questions?" I said gritting my teeth.

"Okay." He sadly said.

After 2 seconds, He suddenly jumped before me to stop me from walking and I raised my eyebrows quizzically,

"Wanna have some icecream?" He asked with excitement.

I chuckled, he really knows how to make me laugh even when I am in so much bad mood,

"You really know how to change my mood, don't you?"

"Yeah, you can say that to make yourself happy, but I am asking cause I wanna eat it." I lightly punched his arm while chuckling. 

"You are a dog." I chuckled. I really like him, he is my best friend, he knows how to make me feel better even in worst conditions. He is always there when I need him, I share everything with him and he never judge me. Such a sweet friend he is.

He took my hand and while acting like he'd gonna bite it he said, "And dog bites too. Bhao !" I bursted out laughing and punched him on his cheek and he made a pout face. He looks so cute. Then I reminded Rezay's words,

Don't fall for his looks.

I smiled while thinking about him.

After some more walk on streets, we reached some busy road, after crossing the road, finally some icecream parlor named as 'Mubarak Icecream Parlor' came into our view, then we quickly reached there, entered and walked to the counter, Sami placed an order, he really knows what flavor I'd choose, ofcourse, 

"Chocolate chip with light touch of coffee crunch nah?" He asked and I nodded.

Then he motioned me to sit on a table. But before I could reach there, something caught my attention or I should say someone?

I saw someone through glass window, outside of the Icecream parlor standing in a full black weird costume, his face was covered with black scarf from which his eyes were shown, but the most weirdest thing was that he was looking right at me. I turned around to see if someone is behind me whom he was looking at, but there was no one standing there except me. When I again turned around, he was nowhere to be seen. Then my phone beeped in my hand, I quickly opened it and found again the message from unknown number.

"You really look cute in cartoon T-shirt, my girl." 

A cold shiver ran down to my spine, I started calming myself and drifted my eyes to check if someone is watching me but there was no one, I quickly typed,

"Who are you? & how can you see me?" I desperately waited for his reply, I wanted to know if it is some kind of joke or what?

Beeeep....

"Ohh cause I am everywhere and you will know, soon." my phone started trembling in my hands and I didn't get why I am so much freaking out? He can't do anything, he is lying, its just a prank, nothing else.

Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder and I almost jumped in my place. I turned and saw a familiar face,

"Hooh! Sami... Thank... God." I let out a breath.

"Whoa! What happened? You look pale." He said palming my forehead with concern. I also don't know, what'd I tell you? 

"Yeah, no--- actually...I don't know too---" I sighed, "---I-I saw--I think----um--someone?" It was more of a question. I don't know but I started shivering by just thinking that someone this much weird was watching me and if I am not wrong he has my number too. It means not good. God, please help me and save me from these type of creeps.

"What? What happened? Tell me clearly? But---" He paused while looking for something, then started, "---Let's first sit there." He pointed towards a table. We quickly walked there and settled down on the bench. Then I started from beginning by showing him my cell phone,

"Here, look, First I got a call from an unknown number and he---he was a guy and he said nothing but just 'I've found you' then after that call I am getting these types of weird messages and look at these recent ones, I got these messages after I saw someone outside the parlor and he was looking at me Sami, he was weird, really weird, covered with black costume, his face with scarf and all that and I-I don't know anything but--but he is... scaring me." I finished whole story in one breath and sighed, then paused, when waiter came with our orders and he placed it on the table. Meanwhile Sami was looking at messages and numbers. I said,

"Thank you!" to the waiter, he smiled and left. Then I started,

"Did you see that?" I asked panicking.

"Yeah, I see that, calm down Tani, let me check, don't worry, don't panic." He said while giving me a light assuring smile but it didn't give me comfort, I felt something bad is coming but still I hope and pray for good.

"Listen Tani--" He gestured me to come near phone, then he started, "See, did you notice? These are two numbers, one from which you got a call is different from the other one, umm.. from which you got messages."

"Yeah, so? What's the point in that?" Yeah, I have checked before that these are different numbers.

"The point is, I highly doubt that the number from which you are getting messges would be a block number, cause I saw your conversation, I mean, you are replying and he is getting so that means it is not a blocked number so we can easily trace that number. Right?" Ohh! he is right.

"Yeah, right. We can trace that."

"Yeah, now tell me, did you try to call back on that number from which you got call?" I tried to remember, but I don't think, I've tried to call back. No.

"Nop, never."

"So, let's try." He dialled that number placed phone on his ear and gestured me to eat icecream cause it started melting and I nodded but while stirring I was still looking at his face that maybe we get our answers. After a while he said,

"Invalid number, I'd told you." He said while placing phone on the table and I quickly started,

"That means, it is blocked."

"Yes."

"That means, he is using two numbers to contact me."

"Yes Tani." 

"Now listen, you just have to do, whenever he text you, don't reply, don't answer his calls. I'll ask my friend for tracing this number, he is a big techo creep, you know, he is a hacker too. He will surely solve this, don't worry." He said while taking a spoon full of icecream and then started copying that number from my phone and handed it back to me.

"---And also if the person that was watching you, they both are same, which I think they are, then we will see him too, but you have to be strong and careful and don't listen to any stranger if or whenever you go out, okay?" I nodded then said,

 "Okay. but any guesses, who could be him?" 

"Well, if im not wrong, maybe I know who could be that creep." Suddenly spoon left from my hand and fell on the table.

"Really? you--you know him? um.. how? but who could be him?" He gasped then he called waiter for another spoon which waiter quickly brought and then he again started,

"Tani, don't panic, I didn't say that I know him personally, but I am saying, maybe I know who could be behind you." I got confused what does he mean by that?

"What? are you trying to say?" 

"You remember that night? when we all escaped from that freaky sheikh, I guess----" my eyes got wide when realization hit me, Yes he is right, that sheikh could be behind this, I heard him sigh then he took my hand and started,

"Look Tani, whoever he is, that sheikh or anyone, we will find out. Just--- just be careful." I nodded then he started,

"If I knew that you'd get this much scared with any starnger. I'd wish to be behind this all creepy stuff." My eyes got wide and I bursted out laughing.

"You are such a dumbass, Sami." I said chuckling and he just laughed with me.

Then we finished our cups of icecreams and headed back to home. When we reached home we exchanged our good byes and he left after promising and reassuring me that 'everything will be fine'.

I opened gate with keys and entered home, it was dark everywhere I quickly turned on the bulb that was near main gate then my phone again beeped in my hand and I almost jumped with fear, I slide it and opened,

"Safely reached home? But not anymore." 

I shivered at this text, what does he mean by that? I wanted to reply but I didn't. Then I quickly jumped to stairs and reached to my room and sighed in relief, now I started to fear in my own home. Wow! 

I placed my shawl roughly at my bed and went to restroom, my whole night passed while working on the project and then I didn't even turn the laptop off and passed out.

The next few days went busy while working on the project and talking with Rezay then our terminals started and I kept myself busy in studies meanwhile one day Sami called me and told me something after which my tension increased, he told me that,

"We couldn't trace that number, the result is showing that it is blocked number but I don't think so. But don't worry I am working on it, let's see what'd be the outcome."

How could it be possible ? What's the secret? I have to find out. 

Two weeks passed but I didn't get anymore messages or calls from that unknown freak, so I thought it was just a prank, nothing else, maybe one of our class fellow could have done that. 

But one day something happened, that was not good in my opinion.
