Maya POV

I'm so annoyed with William Sanders, he keeps following me, he keeps staring at me it's annoying really but it's a mystery he keeps staring at me and i don't know why.

I was walking to the cafeteria, but i didn't see a guy walking towards the same direction that i bumped to him unintentionally .

"Oh, sorry. I didn't see you there." i apologized to the guy i bumped to.

"Oh, no worries. I also didn't see you there." he said as he smiled at me.

"I'm Gin, Gin Forden. What about you?" he asked me.

"Maya, Maya Shens. Nice to meet you." i also smiled at him.

"A new face huh, just moved here? Where are you from?" he asked me again.

"I'm from California. Yeah, we just moved here, my mother was transferred here that's why we have to move here. It's quite tiring." i answered back while we start walking together.

While we're walking i spot William Sanders in far right side of the large cafeteria, straightly looking at me while his friend was talking. I ignored him then i walked in the line. I waited and waited while talking to Gin. Gin is full of wisdom and i thought he has some bad attitude because his get up is really bad ass. Though it's cool.

"What do you want miss?" the lady in the cafeteria asked me.

"Oh, um... Cheese fries, a cola, and an apple." i ordered.

When they finished preparing my food, i took it then follow Gin to his table. We ate silently but it was comfortable, while we were eating the cafeteria door opens loudly and appeared an angry Kaylie with a smug face.

She looks for something or someone then when her eyes turned to me she glared at me so hard i might melt. Then she stomps her way towards our table, when she's on front of us she slams her hands in the table while still glaring at me.

"Why are you eating lunch together with my boyfriend? Do you want me to pull your hair again you slut?!" she said with angry tone. Holy crap.

"Kaylie calm down. We're not doing anything wrong beside eating, do you want to join us? I'll bring your food." Gin said calming down the raging Kaylie.

She closes her eyes then calms herself down. Wow, I'm surprised she can do that, through all the bullying she has done to me this is the first time she's calm. "Okay." replied Kaylie.

Now Kaylie joins us in the couch while Gin goes in line again. The entire time Kaylie was glaring at me, but i know there some things she wants to ask me.

"Go on, ask me. I'll answer it in all honesty." i said bluntly.

"Are you trying to steal my boyfriend?"Kaylie asked me.

"No." i replied while munching the God fries. They're so yummy.

"Cut the crap Maya! Don't you lie to me with that innocent face! I know you like him because he's handsome but i won't let you take him from me!" she said angrily.

I looked at her, then i quickly imagined her to be a cute kitty defending it's toy from it's owner that made me chuckle.

"What's funny Maya?! Do you think this is funny?!" she asked angrily.

"Wow, Kaylie you look like a kitty defending your toy from me. First of all Gin is not handsome, he just dress cool clothes. Second, my brother is more handsome than Gin. Third, you shouldn't jump to your conclusions like that, that's embarrassing." i said then smiled.

"Good sister! You have good eyes! I knew I'm handsome from the start." said my brother butting in our table.

"Brother, I'm always honest this is the first time i lied. Sorry God." i said while sighing.

"Good joke Maya. You really nailed it." said my brother again.

"Stop it brother, you're embarrassing me!" i hissed at him.

I turned at Kaylie and it seems she's calm now, she's strange, earlier she's fuming with anger but now she's calm. Maybe she's on her period, mood swings! Then i look at William Sanders and he's completely staring at me with a grin on his stupid face.

I quickly finished my food then got out of the cafeteria, seriously i have to be school mates with my Arch Enemy... Actually we were best friends when we were kids, but summer just passed and she quickly changed, i didn't knew the reason but she always avoid me, she keeps running away from me, since then we parted ways.

Then we were classmates in elementary, she's the popular one, i tried several times to talk to her but she keeps avoiding me. Then there's this time we were alone then i talked to her.

"Kaylie?" i said.

"......" she didn't say anything.

"Kaylie, i know you can hear me. Please talk to me." i plead to her.

"......" she's still not saying anything.

"KAYLIE!" i shouted at her.

"What?" she asked me sternly.

"Why aren't you talking to me? Did i do something?" i asked her.

"Why don't you ask it yourself? Aren't you smart? Use your brain dumbass." she barked at me.

"Why are you acting this way?! Just tell me the reason why! We were friends when we were kids! Then suddenly you changed. Why? Why did you leave me alone?" i asked while my tears are flooding.

"None of your business." she replied back with coldness.

She was walking towards the door but i blocked her way, "I won't let you leave as long as we don't fix our friendship. I miss you so much Kaylie." i said while crying.

"Let me through Maya or I'll hurt you." she says with clenched teeth.

"No."

Then suddenly she kicked my side, i propelled from her strong kick then i landed in the chairs, my head banged with a sharp part of the chair that it bled. My head is bleeding!

"Next time you block my way I'll do more than this. Be careful who you mess with Maya Shens." i see that death glare, that death glare she used to the kids who bullied me in our childhood.

"Wait! Kaylie!" then i lost consciousness.

That's what i remember in our elementary then i didn't try to talk to her since then. Then it was late and my brother was searching for me, he found me unconscious in the floor. I knew he searched for me because he told me when i woke up in the hospital with band aid in my head, when we removed the band air it turned into a scar, a scar I'll never forget. Then it angered me, i started competing with her till this day.

I head to my next subject since the bell rang, my next subject was Mathematics Calculus. This subject is where i transform. My only friend in elementary Ned always call me wizard when It's math time, he always sit beside me. And he always look at my test paper when we answer the exams, but i let him. I guess I'm too kind to my friend.

When i entered the classroom it was still empty, i guess I'm the first one to arrive. I see the farthest seat and walk to it, i reached it then sit. Minutes later students started filling the room, i ignored all their stares and just look out at the window.

It was raining now, wait it shouldn't be raining, it wasn't on the news that it's going to rain. I guess we have climate change, i sigh then continued looking at the window. Then a girl took a sit next to me, she was a little bit chubby but she was beautiful. I look at her but quickly turned away because she was completely staring at me with a smile. "Hey, I'm Janie, Janie Forden." hmm? Gin's sister?

"Are you Gin's sister? I'm Maya, Maya Shens" i smiled at her then shake her hand.

"Actually his older sister, i know i don't look like it but I'm the older one." she said.

Then we chatted, chat chat about some sights, and some countries that has good sights. She completely took my interest, she tells stories about her boyfriend. I listen to her and every time she continues her mood sours. I took her hand then looked at her, i sweetly smile at her.

"It's alright Janie, you don't need that jerk. There's million of guys more handsome than that guy. If you see him contact me I'll kick him to where the sun doesn't shine." i reassure her.

She smiles at me then say, "Thank you Maya, but that's not necessary, I'll do that myself so that he knows how it hurts when he cheated on me." she said while grinning.

"That's the words i want to hear from you! Now, i have a little problem,will you help me on this?" i asked her.

"Of course Maya, we're friends now right?" she said.

Will POV

When the bell rang it was our second recess, i stand up from my sit and head to the cafeteria with Chris and Morry, before we go on with the scene let me introduce Morry.

Well her full name is Morren Delia Hadrison, she's a really friendly girl that chatted with us when we're bored. She's really amusing, making us laugh. That's all, now to go back to the scene.

Like before we were walking towards the cafeteria while thinking what food we should get, then we entered the cafeteria. We fall in line like we did earlier then we ordered. 

Then we picked our usual place, "Hey Will, how about you tell us about your childhood days?" Morry says.

"Yeah man, I'm quite curious about your childhood too." said Chris.

"Well i hope i don't disappoint you with my story. Here goes, when i was a boy i have a dog named Chariot, we always play in the backyard of our house. Then i always come home in the house with mud on my clothes, in my first school my father is always busy, well i understand because he's the CEO of our company. But then i thought of something, maybe if i have achievements my father will notice me, so i work hard and studied ruthlessly that i forgot fun. Then in the exact day of my recognition day my dog died, he was killed because he ate something we don't know. Then i came into depression, that was when my father ease up to his work and had time for us, his family, he heard that i fell into depression then... He comforted me, he didn't show up to his office for 2 weeks from comforting me. Then we had a family outing, he brought us to Disneyland! I noticed it didn't fired up my spirit so he brought me to Matterhorn Bobsleds, then i became happy, we had a father and son time together. The end." i said.

"Wow, your dad is a CEO? What company does he run?" they asked. Wait with all i said that's the only sentence they noticed?

"They create ships for the American Army." i replied.

"Whoa! That's cool! You must be rich huh?" said Chris.

I was about to reply when i see the beauty enter the cafeteria with another girl... Wait is that Janie?! I haven't seen her for 4 years! Janie spots me then i see the shock in her face then she gives me a murderous glare.

I give her a questioning look then i see the beauty looking at me, she must have followed where Janie is looking. I smiled at her but she gives me a blank look. 

"Hey Will, are you listening?" said Chris.

"Uhh, yeah yeah I'm listening." i quickly said.

"Oh really? What was the last word i said?" challenged Chris.

"Huh." i replied.

"No you idiot. You weren't listening at all!" he says while saying more things i don't understand.

I quickly set off my eyes from him then look for the beauty. But then i see them sitting next to Morry and chatting to themselves. Then a punch was sent to my shoulder, though it wasn't that hard it hurts.

"Ow! Why did you do that for?" i said as i look at Chris.

"You're not listening again! Is it too hard to listen to your friend?" he said dramatically.

"Man, shut your drama it doesn't suit you. And there are girls with us, keep your image! Image!" i whisper.

"Oh yeah guys! I haven't introduced you to Janie! Janie this is William C. Sandress and Chris Martendalis, guys this is Janie Forden and Maya Shens." Morry introduced us.

"Oh i don't need to know this jerk and this fat head's names, i already knew them long before!" Janie shouts that students in the cafeteria looked at us.

"This William is a fat head that always get the medals instead of me! That Chris is the guy who cheated on me with a petite girl she looks like a chopsticks!" Janie says as i look at Chris and see his eyes have a hint of regret. So it's true.

"Wait first of all," i stand up to stop Janie from shouting, "Morry you got my surname wrong! It's not Sundress it's Sanders, and Chris' is Martendale. Janie i know you have a grudge on me because i took the medals that's greater than yours and for that I'm sorry." i said then sit down, i looked at Chris again and his head is still bent down in shame.

I smacked his head and he looks at me like I'm crazy then i gave him a sign, a sign to apologize to Janie, then i smiled, he looks at me for one minute then sigh. "Janie, I'm really sorry for what i did that day, i was an idiot for leaving you for another girl, I'm really sorry." he said.

"Maya, won't you say anything? You've been quite the whole time." Morry says with worry.

"Oh... Um, i want to say to.. Chris? You're a jerk face who hurt my new friend!" Maya says, that's cute.

"Come on Maya, we're just wasting time here with that fat head and that play boy!" Janie says as she drags Maya to another table.

"Damn Chris, you're a messed up fellow. You should fix that problem with Janie or it'll be too late, she's a rare girl you know, if another guy got to her first that guy will be lucky to have her." Morry warns Chris.

"Ugh, i don't know how to approach her! With all i have done how can i show my face to her?" Chris said with worry.

"Man up bastard! It's not too late to fix your broken bond! Remember there's never too late, but you can't get her back if you're wimping like a cat!" i said to him.

" Okay okay, I'll talk to her after school. Well i hope she forgives me and let me to her heart once again, I'll make an oath to my soul to never betray her again." Chris says with determination.

"Good! That's the words i wanna hear, now let's go to our classes or you want to receive punishment from the teachers." i said as we walk to our next class.
