Janie POV

Of all people why do i have to meet with those two idiots! Honestly! I thought i was in peace now that i moved on from Chris. But we met again, does fate have a grudge on me?

"Jen.."

I really want to stop that time and stick a broom in Chris' nose! And that Will? He can suck up all the medallion in his as-.

"Janie!" Maya suddenly comes to view in front of me. And now that i notice it she was shaking me violently.

"What?" was my only answer.

"You weren't paying attention to class before, even the teacher was shouting on you really loudly but you seem to think too deeply, what's wrong?" she asks me.

I look at her, observe her. She's really beautiful, her skin is crystal white, her hair in straight line. But what's really beautiful about her is her jade green eyes. She's a perfect model.

"Is there something on my face?" she asks me, breaking me out of my trance.

"No, it's nothing." i gave a smile.

"Is it about Chris and William?" she asks me again.

"No, it's not about them..." i replied.

"Jen you know I'm here for you. You're my friend!" she says, sounding cheery.

"I'm leaving." i said with anger laced in my voice.

"Why? Did i do something wrong?" she asks me, but i didn't answer as i hurriedly walked out of class.

I need to get away, that's what I'm thinking the entire time when i suddenly bumped to someone. When i look up i suddenly regretted it when i knew whose the person i bumped into. It was Chris, the minute i looked at his eyes i immediately saw in his eyes how he used to look at me when we were in a relationship. But it was over, I'm never going back to this idiot, after all he's done to me, all pain he gave me.

"Janie.." he murmured while he tries to touch me.

I quickly slapped his hand away as a tear slipped my eyes, i fidgeted then i started to walk on the opposite way. But his hand quickly pulled my hand stopping me from my tracks.

"Let go.." i said while trying to get my hand back.

"Not until you've forgiven me." he said gripping my wrist tight.

"Forgiveness? That's what you're trying to earn from me?" i ask him, suddenly turning around to face him.

"Look Janie I'm s--" 

"You think you deserve forgiveness? For what you've done to me, do you think i can still forgive you? I gave my everything to you! And you wasted it all!" i started to violently shake my hand from him, trying to break free.

"Janie, jus- just give me a chance!" he said as he hugged me. The hug i yearned for when we broke up, the hug that gave me enough warm, the hug that i loved.

"Why did you do this to me?! Why did you hurt me?! I did everything so you won't leave me, but you did! Tell me why! Why?!" i started shouting. 

Then i see Gin, he looked my way then his expression turned from smiling to furious. Then he started running this way, i didn't do anything. I just stared at him running, then he punched Chris right in the nose.

It shocked me, i quickly moved away from Chris. Then the bell rang and minutes later students started to swarm the hall way, when they saw what's happening some boys rushed towards the two fighting each other, i notice one of the guys who rushed towards the two was Will.

"You bastard! I warned you to never go near my sister again!" shouted Gin.

"I just want to apologize. Look i regret what i did to her long ago." Chris said then looked at me.

"Jen, what i did long ago, i regret it. I still love you, i want to start again with you." Chris pleads as he touches my hand.

I took my hand away and scooted over to where Gin is, when I'm on his side he holds my hand. It gave me enough courage to say something.

"Sorry Chris, but i moved on. I have no intention on going back to you." i said as i drag Gin away.

While we were walking we met with Maya and.. Kylie? Isn't she the girl who hate Maya's guts? 

"Gin! Are you alright? Did Chris hurt you?" Kylie hurriedly rushed towards my brother then inspected his face for any signs of bruise.

"Kylie I'm alright, he didn't punch me but i was kicking his ass." Gin says to her.

While they were talking i walked towards Maya, "Hey, sorry how i acted earlier." i said while my head bent down.

"Don't worry about it, we're still friends right?" she asks me.

I looked at her, then hugged her tight, "Yes we're still friends!"

"That's good then, but Jen i have the word Oxygen in my vocabulary but it's slowly fading away." she said then i let go.

I smiled at her brightly.

After the commotion we decided to go to a restaurant near the school. It's called The Nation, according to Gin it has 3 different food, Japanese, American of course, and French food.

We entered the restaurant and find a table good for 4 people. Then a waitress came to us.

"Hello sir and ma'am how many are you?" asked the lady.

"We have 4 people, is there any table good for us?" i replied and asked.

"Yes there is. Just the far corner on the left. Do you need guidance?" she asked.

"No need, just give us the menu." i replied.

The woman walk away for a moment, then we walked to the table then sat down.

While we were waiting Kylie is glaring at Maya while Maya is busy with her phone. I look at Gin then tap his hand. He looked at me then i gestured to Kylie, Gin understood then hold Kylie's hand.

Kylie looked at Gin then her expression softened then she leaned her head to his shoulder.

"Guys, go order without me, I'm just gonna use the restroom. And my order is Carbonara!" i  said as i rushed to the restroom.

I know i shouldn't love him anymore but when we saw each other at the cafeteria it felt like the first time we met, the first time i fell in love with him. But i push that feeling aside.

I can't fall for him again...

Because i might get hurt again.

Chris POV

"Dude, you messed up real bad." William says as he walked to the infirmary.

"I'm aware of that man. But i don't know how i can past his brother and fix my mess." i said with gritted teeth.

When my fight with Gin is over William accompanied me into the infirmary with Morry.

"I should be angry at you for what you did to Jane but i know that's not what you need right now. I'll help you get her back, but if you break her heart again I'll be your enemy." he threats me with serious eyes.

"Don't worry man, i won't repeat a mistake." i reassured him.

"Good." was all he said as he left me to the infirmary with only the doctor who treated my bruise.

"So you're Chris, MY daughter's ex." the doctor said with a glare.

"Who are you talking about?" i questioned him.. Don't tell me..

"I'm Daniel Forden, Jane's father." he said with rage filled in his voice.

S*$&, i just stepped into a land mine, a very dangerous land mine.

'All land mines are dangerous idiot' i said to myself.

"Uhmm, if you're Jane's father, aren't you supposed to be in another country?" i asked him nervously.

"I'm subbing the doctor here, the doctor got fired by the Principal because he was a pervert." doc said.

"Why did you did it to my daughter?" he asked me, still glaring.

"I was an idio--"

"Good that you know." he interrupted me.

"I was so stupid to leave her for another girl whom i know i won't be happy with." i said.

Ever since we broke up i was consumed of guilt, everyday i regret it, and everytime i look at a girl i see her face in thwt person, smiling at me. I missed her laugh, her smile, her hugs, everything. I missed her so much.

"Seems you broke her." doc said.

"No sir, i--"

"Used her, for your own pleasure." i think I'll have another bruise in my face.

"Sir, if you're gonna punch me. Have it your way. I won't fight back." i said with submission.

*crackling knuckles*, i was waiting to be punched but it never came, i peeked to the doc to see he looked stressed.

"Uhh, sir? Aren't you gonna punch me to what I've done to your daughter?" i asked.

"It won't change her back to that beautiful and cheerful girl if i kill you." he replied.

"You wanted to kill me? I said 'Punch' not 'Kill'." i said in total disbelief.

"I heard what you said. I just made a joke." he said said with an irritated expression.

"Since I'm okay.. Can i go now?" i asked.

"Yes you can, but don't have another fight with my son!" Mr. Forden said then i dashed out off the infirmary with all adrenaline backing me up.

Damn he was scary. If i meet him again I'm sure i won't get away.

While i was walking, i wasn't paying attention to where I'm walking then suddenly i bumped into a girl. The girl's glasses dropped into the floor but the girl didn't pick them up, so i picked them up instead.

I reached out the glasses to her, then she slowly took them with trembling hand, then i heard a sob.

"Miss, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Did someone hurt you?" i asked, sincere.

She didn't speak, she just nodded then stalked towards me, then she collapsed right in front of me. But i catched her before she touches the floor.

I carried her towards the infirmary, Bridal Style. The doctor rushed at my side then took the girl away from me.

"What happened to her?" Mr. Forden asked me.

"I don't know she just collapsed right in front of me, i think she's sick." i replied.

"Well, it's good that you catch her, because if she collapsed in the hallway and no one is there for her, she might get really sick." he said while looking at me.

"What do you mean really sick? Isn't she sick already?" i asked. Curious.

"Do you even have the slightest idea who she really is?" he asked me in disbelief.

"Uhh, no.." i replied.

"She's the daughter of the Boss of a Mafia hiding here in California." he said.

"They're called.." he trailed off.

"..The Red Lion." he continued.

The Red Lion? Who are they? Should i fear them because they're here? Or did they come here in peace? Question clouded my mind.

"Are you afraid? That they might go after you because you got involved in their boss' daughter? Don't worry, they won't come for your head. You're not a big catch you see. They only come for the responsible ones." Mr. Forden told me.

"How do you know that? Are you friends with them?" i asked with curiousity in the air.

"No, we're not friends. We just know each other." he replied, but i sense a denial in his voice. So i didn't believe him quickly.

"Well, I'm gonna go now. It's nice meeting you Mr. Forden. I'll be on my way." i said, quickly picking up my bag then heading to the door but he said something.

"Don't go out when it's 10:30, they might not persue you for your envolvement with this girl but they'll come after you when they think you're in the way." he warned me.  I just nodded then head out, i walked to the parking then to my bike. It was a Honda NXR120.

"Oh, is that your bike? Nice ride dude." a random guy said to me.

"Oh, uhh thanks dude. You too." i said to him.

Then i put my helmet, then drove out of school.

While i was driving i notice another bike hot on my tail, but then i notice something in his helmet.. It was a symbol. A Red Lion.. Oh no.

Mr. Forden said they won't persue me for my involvement in their Mistress', i think he lied to me because of what i did to her precious daughter.

I drove aside and waited for the man to come at me. We got out of our bikes then he stalked towards me, i didn't move a muscle that gave him a sign it's okay to approach me.

"Are you Chris Martendale?" the man asked me through his helmet.

"Yeah, i am him. What do you want with me?" i asked him.

"Our boss wants to see you, since you have your own ride just follow me and don't do anything stupid as escaping. Because i know this place like the back of my hand." he warned me.

"I won't run away, i promise." i assured the man.

"Good." he said then walked towards his bike then drove off.

I followed him like i promised. We were obly riding 1 hour and 24 minutes then we stopped at a road.

"Hey, where are we?" i asked him.

"We're in heaven." the man replied.

"Really?" i asked.

"No dumbass, we're above the Headquarters." he said rudely.

We stand outside of a hotel, the man started walking towards the hotel and i followed, then when we were inside he walked to a blonde woman, but i think she's in her 40's, the man talked to her for a moment then he walked towards the elevator, i followed but he stopped  the moment the woman shouted.

"Good to see you again Scar!" the woman said then looked at me then she smiled, i smiled back and followed this Scar guy.

He has a sprayer in his hand, which made me wonder what's it for. Then i looked at the buttons and only saw four buttons, it says 1st floor and 2nd floor and the closing button, which is weird, because outside the hotel looked crazy huge. Then the man sprayed below the middle of first floor and 2nd, which appeared a red one with a Red Lion symbol, the man pressed it and we were going under the surface. 

It only took me minutes before i figured out the strangeness of the buttons and sprayer, the buttons are invisible so when they want a room above the ground floor the blond woman give them the sprayer.

The elevator stopped then i was dragged in hand by the man and soon i came face to face with a man who looked in his 30's.

"So you're the one who got involved with my daughter. Tell me how she's doing right now." the man menacingly smiled at me. He sounds evil.
