Sonic and his friends, including Blaze and Silver, are having a get together in Amy's house.
"Sonic!" Amy cried as she hugged her hero.
"Amy! Get off me! Argh!" Sonic yelled back, with a tint of red on the tip of his ears.
"Stop bein' all lovey-dovey mate!" Marine yelled in disgust, closing her eyes while Sticks(I added her in, watcha gonna do about it?) yelled "EW!!" in agreement.
"Alright everyone, chill. We just got here. We don't the couple to get mad. Ok?" Silver said, getting a few snickers for the last remark.
"I'll bake you guys cookies," Blaze said firmly, walking to the kitchen.
"Yay! Cookies!" A few cried. And "no. I want chips!" Also can be heard. Soon enough, the gang starts to fight.

Meanwhile with the Silvaze couple...

"They're loud aren't they?" Silver stated, sweat rolling down his face.

"Yeah. Wonder why. Must be over something dumb." Blaze agreed, taking an apron and tying it around her waist.
"Wait, Blaze. Didn't you tell me that you don't like to cook?" Silver asked, as she stood in the front of Blaze, bodies only a few centimeters apart.
'I just wanted to get away from everyone." Blaze quietly replied her head down.
"Blaze..." Silver whispered, as he lifted her head with his finger and sighed.
"They're nice people. You just have to get along. Just imagine them in something silly!" Silver suggested, trying to get the lavender cat to smile.
Upon hearing that statement, Blaze's mouth curled up as she struggled to not smile. However, she failed. Her mouth starts to curve and it opened, releasing a quiet laugh from her.
After chuckling over the matter, Silver sighed and said, "Well, can't have them yell again, right?"
Which Blaze answered, "Right."

"Since you never baked cookies, I'll teach you. Is that alright?" Silver asked while getting the cooking book.
"Sure, Silv." Blaze replied, using Silver's nickname for her. She is the only one to call him that. Blaze smiled as she remembered the moment.

-FLASHBACK- (Ship moment!!)

"Silv! Wanna play ball?" Sonic asked, throwing the ball and catching it again.
"Don't call me that!" Silver complained, pouting while crossing his arms.
"Silv. Wanna partner up?" A female voice is suddenly heard. The two hedgehogs turned around to see Blaze.
Sonic is expecting Silver to pout again, but he is surprised when Silver happily said sure and ran towards her.
'What. The. Heck. I'm not allowed to call him that, but she is?!' Sonic thought angrily, squeezing the ball.
As if Amy has telephonic powers, she appeared behind him and said, "Oh Sonic. It's a man in love. You'll understand once you fall in love with me!" Amy happily yelled.
"Alright, Amy! Geez! Anyway, let's play!" Sonic said, going back to his happy attitude.

-FLASHBACK END-

The blaze was in la-la land until she's pet by Silver (I KNOW IT MAKES NO SENSE, SHUT UP!).
'S-silver?!" The embarrassed girl cried, shying away from the male and covering her head with her hands.
"I knew it would work! So, let's actually start?" Silver teased, earning a playful slap from Blaze.
"Sure."

-Cooking Time!-

"So, let's gather the ingredients first, which are  3/4 cup of granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup of butter
1 tsp of vanilla
1 egg
1-
"Silver, before we start, what cookies are we baking?" Blaze asked.
"Oh right! Sorry! We're making chocolate chip cookies!" Silver revealed, smiling widely before returning to the recipe book.
The smile squeezed Blaze's heart a little. She feels happy and light, even though she doesn't know why. Silver is reading the recipe book but Blaze isn't listening. That is until she starts to levitate.
"Wha- Silver, put me down this instant!" Blaze ordered, a light blush appearing on her blush.
"Nope!" Silver said and continued taking the ingredients.

A comfortable silence surrounds them until Blaze started to talk.
"Seriously Silver? Just because I didn't listen to you, you're going to put me up here?" Blaze asked, annoyed.
"Yes." Silver replied without showing any emotion, which shocked the cat since Silver is always the one showing emotion. A few minutes ago, he looked so happy.
"Silver!" Blaze whined.

And Silver broke character. He laughed until he couldn't control his powers.
"SILVER!" Blaze yelled as she fell. She closed her eyes and hit something... soft?
Blaze opened her eyes to see a puff(?) of white hair on her face. Not realizing it was Silver's fur, she played with it.
"Soft." She muttered as she continued to play with it.

Meanwhile, Silver was losing it. Here, his closest friend (which will soon be his GF, COUGH) was playing with his fur, and he got the need to purr.
He tried to stop it from coming out, but all effort was all for nothing. "Rrrr." Came from a comfortable (?) Silver.
"S-silver?!" Squeaked Blaze, as she unconsciously hugged Silver tighter.
"Hmm..." Silver muttered weakly, already stuck to the feeling.
Blaze felt weird, but she liked it. So she continued to stroke his fur (I freaking don't know the name. The thing in the middle of his chest. What's it called?), releasing purrs from the hedgehog. Silver slowly sank, slowly purring louder and louder.

"Guys, you're so quiet-"Sonic bursts out smashed the door open, and paused.

"Sonic... WE CAN EXPLAIN!" Yelled the couple, furious blushes on their faces.
"I wasn't listening-"

"So I bought her to the air-"

"And I fell-"

"And it became like this!"

But Sonic was having none of it. "Guys, if you want to flirt, don't do it in the kitchen!" From Sonic's view, the two were having a good time, with Silver purring in delight and Blaze stroking his fur. Looks flirty to him, so he decided to drop by and tease them.
" Right guys. Just get cooking. The gang's hungry!" Sonic commanded, leaving the kitchen, probably to gossip about this.

After Sonic left, silence dominated the space once again.
"B-blaze?" Silver whispered, not wanting to break the already heavy silence.
"Hmm?"
"Can we get back to cooking?" Silver asked, smiling sheepishly.
"Sure." Blaze replied with a voice just as quiet.
" So, anyway, I got all the ingredients, so let's start cooking!" Silver said, who already forgot about the accident.
"R-right!" Blaze said back, smiling and confidently taking the cookbook.

"It says to heat the oven to 375*. I'll do that. Next, mix sugars, butter, vanilla, and egg in a large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. You can do that Silv." Blaze ordered, putting the cookbook down and heading towards the oven.
When she came back, Silver's already done with the dough and is reading the next step.

" Next, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Do we have any cookie sheet?" Silver asked, looking around the kitchen.

They both dug the drawers to find it. In the midst of their searching, they didn't notice the two blobs of pink and blue peeking through the window.

"Amy! It's not a good idea!" Sonic whispered, earning a punch from the girl.

" Who told me that Silvaze is happening? You. So let. Me. Spy. On. Them. " Amy gritted, the black aura surrounding her.

" Alright, Amy! Geez..." Sonic whispered, hoping that the two didn't catch them.

" Found it!" The voice shocked both spies, ducking beneath the windowsill.

Amy signaled to Sonic to stop the chase. And they both escaped without notice from the cooks.

" Good. I found the tray too." Blaze replied, setting the tray down with a "thunk".

After laying the cookie sheet on the tray, they took 2 spoons and start to pour the dough onto the sheet.

"Silv, sorry for earlier." Blaze's voice cut through the silence like a rope.

"No, it's fine Blaze! It's my fault in the first place." Silver soothed and smiled after hearing a sigh of relief from Blaze.

"I just.. don't want to ruin our friendship," Blaze said, feeling tears start to brim up her cheeks.

" No! It got us closer! It's fine!" Silver yelled, dropping his spoon to wipe the girl's tears.

After cupping the girl's cheeks, Silver whispered, " Listen Blaze. We're going to be friends to the end of our lives. So, don't cry ok? Your face looks better without tears."

"O-ok. Sorry to bother you." Blaze said, wiping her tears and taking in a deep breath.

"Let's continue?" Blaze offered, a small smile creeping up her face.

"Sure." Silver agreed, taking the spoon again and repeating the motion.

After they finished, they put it in the oven to bake for 10 minutes. They start to wash the dishes. Silence filled the air once more.

'Did I cry because of that? So weak.' Blaze thought, scolding herself for being so weak.

' Should I cheer her up more? She said she's okay, but Sonic told me that when girls say that, they're not.." Silver thought.

Without saying anything, Silver hugged Blaze. Shocked at first, but Blaze hugged back.

Silver rested his head on Blaze's neck and whispered, " You still seem sad, so I thought I might cheer you up. " 
Blaze felt her spine shiver as she felt Silver's breath over her neck.
"I'm not now. Thanks." Blaze whispered, enveloping on the warmth of the hedgehog. Silver is doing the same. They embraced in each other's warmth until the timer rang.
After taking them up, they cooled them on the wire rack.
"Wanna head back? I wanna see just what happened." Silver said, already heading towards the door.
"I'll stay here," Blaze said, shocking Silver.
"Okay. If you say so." Silver shrugged his shoulders before leaving the kitchen.
'OMG!' Blaze thought as she slid to her knees to the ground.
"He smelled good..." She whispered to no one, her facing began to glow red as she waited for the cookies to cool.
She remembered everything they did in that amount of time they spent in the kitchen.
'We've never been this friendly to each other... But it felt nice...' Blaze thought more, her face looking like the darkest shade of red.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" Blaze screamed out of frustration and embarrassment.
' The cookies should be cool but now.' Blaze thought as she walked towards the cookies.
'Yeah, it's cool.' Blaze thought as she touched the rack.
As she heads down to the gang, the girl's face is still red,  so the gang noticed right away.
"Ms. Blaze, are you sick?" Cream asked, worried about her friend.
"I'm fine," Blaze replied, a smile on her face.
"Let's eat!" Sonic declared as the hungry group dug in.
In a few minutes, the cookies disappeared.
"That was delicious guys!" Tails cried, with a few cheers to the cooks.
"Now we've eaten, let's play!" Sonic offered, running outside of the house.
"Wait for us!" Silver yelled, running after him as the rest followed.
As she watched, Bake couldn't help but smile at the group of friends she has. She was especially grateful to a certain hedgehog that changed her life.
'Thank you, Silver. From the bottom of my heart.' Balze thought as she ran to catch up with her teammate.
