It wasn't too long ago when Creativity and Anxiety were rivals. It wasn't too long ago when the two of them hated each other, and threw insults at one another.

But as Roman and Virgil began working together to help Thomas, alongside their other fellow Good Sides, they learned to trust each other's intuition and advice. Heck, if anyone could actually see Thomas' two Sides talking and laughing together, they might be mistaken as a couple.

Each Good Side had their own Bad Sides, but Virgil use to BE a Bad Side! Virgil hated himself for ever being a bad guy, hated knowing that the Bad Sides existed. Virgil liked being a Good Side, he liked Patton and Logan and Roman, he liked having Thomas attention! But he knew the dangers that lurked in the shadows....

For a long time, Virgil tried to hide these demons from his newfound friends. Whenever the Bad Sides causes fiction among the Good Sides, Virgil would blame himself for any and all actions the Bad Side took. Even though Virgil himself had nothing to do with any of The Bad Sides antics, he felt that, somehow, the terrible antics of the Bad Sides were largely his fault.

But as the old saying goes "You can't outrun your past forever"....

"How many times must I tell you Roman?! It's Crofters with a C, NOT a K!" The Good Sides were gathered together again to make a new Sander Sides video, but Logan and Roman we're getting into an argument on what was the corrent way to spell "Crofters". Roman insisted that it was spelt with a K, while Logan knew for a fact that it was spelt with a C. Patton who had no idea what was going on thought Crofters was eating Crofters right out of the jar.

Virgil meanwhile sat back from the chaos, chuckling to himself. He half visited to Thomas trying to get the video back on track, half wondered why he felt.... off? Like he could sense something was wrong, even though he couldn't put a finger on it——

Suddenly, from out of no where, Patton let out a scream, calling out "AUGH—-HELP!!!" Roman and Logan immediately stopped bickering and turned their attention to Patton; Thomas and Virgil snapped their heads towards Pattons direction. Virgils face paled; Deceit was behind Patton's back, keeping Patton pinned to himself with his cane. "Hello Virgil, Thomas, others."

Logan's eyes widen "DECEIT!!!" "Aww, did you miss me?" Deceit chuckled. Virgil could feel his face flush in rage; almost at the same time Virgil and Roman moves towards Deceit, side by side like knights going off to battle. Logan hurried over to Thomas to protect him. Deceit pulled Patton back, scolding "Now now, stay away from us, or I'll have to let Patton go." Virgil knew better than to listen to Deceits "threat", he knew Deceit would never let Patton go without a fight.

"Let him go Deceit!" Roman pulled out his sword and held it up towards Deceit. Patton looked as though he might faint as he weakly called out, "Vir-Virgil behind you!" Virgil spun around to come face to face with Romans Evil Side, Remus, about to bring a club down onto Virgils head. Just in the nick of time though, Roman pushed Virgil out of the way "LOOK OUT——!"

WAM!!!!

Roman collapses to the ground, his body hitting the floor with a unnatural thud! Virgil was frozen in shock, he could see blood beginning to ooze out of Romans head.... Roman might have saved Virgil from being hit by Remus' club, but now he lay motionless on Thomas living room floor.

Remus raised his club again to finish Roman off, but that was when Virgil snapped. With a inhuman cry Virgil leaped at Remus, tackling the Bad Side to the ground. "Oooooo, kinky!" Remus chuckled at Virgil being on top of him, but Virgil didn't listen. He brought his fists down onto Remus, punching the Bad Side several times until Remus passed out. Panting, Virgil sighed——

"VIRGIL LOOK OUT!!!" Logan called out to Virgil. Anxiety had completely forgotten about Deceit when Remus attacked Roman. Virgil spun around, his fists held up in front of him, to see Deceit had snuck up behind him. Virgil couldn't stop Deceit in time however; Deceit brought his cane down onto Virgil, smacking the ex-Evil Side across his face. Virgil fell backwards, hitting his head on Thomas stairway.

From Virgils point of view, The world became foggy. He could see Deceit coming towards him with his cane, could hear Thomas and Logan screaming his name, but he found himself unable to get up. Closing his eyes, Virgil accepted his fate....

Yet fate would have a different say in the matter.

"-Take that!" Virgil could hear Roman scream, causing the Good Side to open his eyes and watch in amazement. Roman, recovering from his head injury, had gotten back to his feet and was now engaging Deceit in one-on-one combat. "And take that! And that! And another one of those as well!" Roman yelled, swinging his sword at Deceit with the accuracy and precision of a true swordsman. With a final cry, Roman had slashed at Deceit for a final time, making the Bad Side stumble away.

Deceit glared at all of them, but especially at Roman and Virgil. "This will be the last time you see the both of us!" Deceit lies as he helped a bloody Remus onto his feet. With a final glare at Virgil, Deceit ad Remus took off to the furthest corner of Thomas mind.

Roman offered a hand out to Virgil, who accepted it with a small "Thank you." When Roman helped Virgil back onto his feet, Virgil pointed out with a gasp "Your-your bleeding!!!" Roman chuckled and offered Virgil his handkerchief "So are you, silly." Virgil accepted the handkerchief and used it to apply pressure to his cut cheek.

Virgil should have felt fine... but he didn't. "I'm sorry" Virgil looked down at his shoes, ashamed to be standing next to Roman. "I let you guys down," Virgil carried on with a sigh, "I thought I was strong enough, I thought I could control them!"

Roman shook his head and patted Virgils shoulder, reassuring Anxiety, "None of this is your fault, Virgil. Those two are the only ones to blame, not you. You have done nothing wrong, okay? And we will help Thomas control them, not just you. You don't have to do this alone."

"We're all on the same team, buckaroo." Patton smirked.

Logan nodded in agreement "You are NOT ALONE, Okay?"

Virgils eyes began to tear up. For the first time in a long time he felt loved and accepted by his brothers, especially by Roman. "Alright," Virgil nodded, using his sleeve to wipe the tears from his eyes "Well do this together..."

Roman snorted at the sight of Virgils face "You might want to fix your eyeliner though; when you used your sleeve to wipe your tears away... well....."

"......FUUUUUUUUUUUU——-!!!!"
