Serena has disliked Misty since the day they first met.

Misty has always hated Serena since the day they first met.

So when the both of them fell in love with the same boy, Ash Ketchum, an all out war sprung up between the two girls. Nagging each other, hurling insults at one another; they even had a Pokemon battle at one point!

But one day, it went too far. Serena had accidentally stopped Misty from capturing a Pokemon, to which Misty accused Serena of sabotaging her Pokemon Journey. The two girls had a huge fight, which sadly resulted in Serena taking off, crying her heart out.

Even worse, Serena got lost in the forest she had run to for safety. Deciding to sit with her back to a trees massive root, Serena pulled her knees to her chest, shaking ever so slightly. How was this ever gonna work between her and Ash if Misty keeps getting in between...?

"Serena! Serena!!!" At that exact moment, Ash walked through the undergrowth of the woods, seeing Serena crying. Running over to her, the Pokemon Trainer hugged his friend, telling Serena, "Hey, it's gonna be alright, Serena....."

"No, it's not gonna be alright." Serena sighed, as she stopped crying, "Misty is not gonna stop until she either has me leave or she has your hand in marriage." Ash raised an eyebrow, saying, "Serena, were only kids!"

It took a moment for that to register with Serena, but when it did connect in her mind she blushed uncontrollably. "I, uh, I, I mean when we're older!" Ash giggled, reassuring her, "It's perfectly OK, Serena.....May I ask a question?"

"Sure!"

".......When we get older, will you marry me?"

Ash looked down in embarrassment, blushing. Serena smirked, tilting Ash's face to stare at her. Gently, Serena pecked Ash's cheek, replying, "Yes. I will." The both of the smiled, leaving the forest hand in hand.
