Idea #1

Your main character has just moved into a new town with their parents and siblings (or grandparents, or aunt/uncle). Not truly understanding the reason why they move, your main character begins to wonder why the town seems so..... Odd. Turns out, the entire town is a safe haven for aliens living on Earth. Your main characters friend is either a alien or a human. Either way, your main characters friend knows to much about a particular alien running for mayor of the town....

Idea #2

Your main character has lived in a alien safe haven for their entire life, living with their parents and siblings (or grandparents or aunt/uncle). Your main character knows the evil plans of a particular alien running for mayor, a alien determined to defeat/harm/kill you. A new person, a human, has just come into town, seeming interested in the strange aliens you call friends. You decide to become this person's friend.....

Idea #3

This can be either Idea #1 or #2, but your main character is a hidden alien in this idea. Either their parents never told them of their extraterrestrial past, or they never knew about it.
