"(Y/N)? Is it really you?"

I nod my head but don't say a word. I look down, letting my hair cast a slight shadow on my face.

"I've found you after all these years! You don't know how much I've missed y-"

"Don't give me that 'I've missed you so much' crap...!"

Now

I walk out of the classroom, trying to gather my thoughts and words.

'What am I even going to say to him?'

"Hey, (Y/N)! Wait up!"

I turn around and Frisk sprints over to me.

"Let's discuss this at my home," I say in a semi-cold manner.

"Do you still live with Ms. Avery?" he asks.

"Yes."

We get to the back exit and he holds the door for me.

"After you!" he jokes.

'Heheh still the same old Frisk I knew...'

I swing my backpack on my front and look around to check that no one else is watching.

I quickly transform into an angel and grab Frisk's arm.

"Woah! Hey!"

I flap my golden wings and shoot him a sly grin before ascending up into the sky.

"You scream like a little girl every single time!" I giggle.

"Yeah...I know..." Frisk admits.

I see Frisk look down at the view and a look of amazement spreads across his face.

"It looks breath-taking from up here!" he gasps.

"Have you never looked down the other times we were flying?" I question.

"Heheh nope! I was always too much of a chicken!" he laughs out loud.

A minute of flying later, I see the park near my house and fly into a small field where no one is around. I set Frisk down and change back into my normal human form.

We walk to my house, a comfortable silence fills the atmosphere. When we get there, he says,

"Hasn't changed at all, huh?"

"No, it hasn't. Still the same as it ever was."

I reach into my backpack and take out my keys to unlock the door.

"Ms. Avery? I'm home! And I brought a friend!"

"Welcome back, (Y/N). And Frisk! Where have you been this whole time?"

"I was um...it's a complicated story..."

"I take it that you haven't told (Y/N) yet. You two may discuss it by yourselves. (Y/N) can tell me later."

I take off my shoes and go to the second floor, and into my bedroom. I set down my backpack on my white desk chair. I sit on my bed and pat it.

Frisk puts down his backpack down by the door and flops down next to me. I bounce up for a quick second.

"Heheh, sorry!"

I giggle slightly.

"So...let's start at the beginning. Why did you disappear?"

"As I said, it's a long story..."

"We have time."

'Homework can wait.'

"Do you remember the mountain near the orphanage?"

I nod.

Frisk's POV

"A child who came to this orphanage named Chara fell down Mount. Ebott years ago," Mariah, a caretaker at the orphanage, tells the younger kids, "They wanted to explore the mountain but they never returned. There is a legend that under the mountain is a kingdom of monsters, terrible creatures. A few villagers recalled seeing a goat monster carrying Chara's body. They attacked him because he killed Chara and he retreated back underground."

Mariah looks at the clock. It reads 9:30 pm.

"Well, storytime is over. Everyone, get to bed."

All the little kids get up and go into their separate rooms. I go into my own room, climb up on the top bunk, and wait for everyone to fall asleep.

Hours and hours of thinking and staring at the ceiling, I sit up and get down from the bunk bed. I make sure that Connor, my bunkmate, is asleep and sure enough, he is.

I grab my blue and magenta sweater and wear it over my black t-shirt. I also find my boots from under the bed and slip them on.

I open the window and climb out of it quickly and quietly.

'I'm just going to look at the mountain. That's all. Then, I gotta go back before anyone catches me.'

I start walking as the beautiful white moon guides me on my way to the mountain. My footsteps make the occasion crunching noise from the leaves on the ground.

I finally make it to the mountain after a good 5 minutes. In front of me is a dark cave where there is minimal sunshine. I cautiously step in and sense the feeling of ominous danger. Ignoring the feeling, I go deeper into the cave and the ominous feeling fades away. I let out a sigh of relief and I walk at a normal pace, now freely exploring it.

I spot something glittering at the corner of my eye and turn myself towards that direction. The moonlight shines on the wall of the cave and it makes the wall look like a glistening diamond.

Fascinated, I walk towards it, holding my hand out as I wanted to examine it a little closer.

Then, suddenly, I trip on a vine.

I fall

Down

Down

Down

Into an empty black abyss.

I see my life flash before my eyes before I get knocked out from the sheer panic.

(Y/N)'s POV

"And so that's how I set all the monsters free and became an ambassador."

"Wow, show-off," I joke and giggle.

He laughs back heartedly.

We look at the time on my white and (f/c) clock. It reads 5:30.

"Wow...I think I've stayed too long! I better get going or else Ms. Toriel's gonna worry!"

He immediately stands up and grabs his backpack.

"Let me walk you down," I get up and walk him downstairs.

Just as he's about to sprint off and leave, I engulf him in a hug. He seems stunned for a second but then holds me tight.

"Please don't leave again..."

I let go of him and he turns around to face me. He puts both of his hands on my shoulders, looks me straight in the eye, and smiles.

"I'm not going to leave this time. I promise."

I start tearing up again and give him a quick hug before letting him go.

He walks down the porch, waves goodbye, and takes off into the distance.

I smile a little and close the door to see Ms. Avery leaning on the wall with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face.

"You like him, don't you?"

"What do you mean?" I give her a puzzled look.

"You really don't like him that way?"

"No?"

"Well, he looks like he's fallen," She laughs.

"Nah. He's just a close friend."

"Whatever you say, (Y/N), " she smirks teasingly as she shrugs.

"I'll be in my room if you need me."

"Alright, dinner will be ready soon."

I walk upstairs and into my room to start my homework.

'I guess the only homework I have to work on the poster.'

Next to my desk is some poster paper that I sometimes use to paint. I unroll it, place it on the floor, and grab a pencil to start sketching the layout.

I made sections for my parents, Ms. Avery, things I like to do, etc.

At around 6, I finish sketching and am about to start tracing when I get a text message from Skate.

Skate:
Roles for the play are posted on the school website now!

Me:
Alright, lemme check.

I exit the conversation and open up Google. I type in the school website and click on "Musical Theatre Roles: Hamilton".

Anticipation starts building up in me as I wait for the page to load. The page finally loads and I go through each role and name.

Main Roles:
Hamilton-PJ
Eliza-(Y/N)

'Wait wut?'

I read the role again and sure enough, I got the part of Eliza, Hamilton's wife.

I take a screenshot, underline my role, and send it to Skate.

Skate:
Dangggg (Y/N)!

Me:
What do I do!?
PJ's gonna kill me!

Skate:
He's freaking out in my group chat...

Me:
Oh God please help me...

At that moment, Ms. Avery calls me down for dinner.

Me:
I gtg eat dinner now. I'll talk to you later.

Skate:
Okay then. Bye.

Me:
Bye

"Coming!"

I put down my phone and dash downstairs. The aroma of the delicious food draws me closer to the kitchen as I sit down at the dining table.

"Smells so good!" I exclaim gleefully.

"Why, thank you, (Y/N)."

She completes the dishes of food, places them on the table, and sits down.

We both eat the food as we discuss the day.

"School is rough but it's the first day so it's normal."

"Frisk is the ambassador of monsters now."

"I got the role of Eliza but I don't even know how."

"Today was insane..."
