((Y/n) POV)

"Frisk? What is she doing?" You asked. You looked at Chara, just floating outside of the aura. She sunk down to the ground against the wall and let herself slowly slide her back down until she was sitting. You heard something from her, a soft whimper. You flew down to her.

"(Y/n)! Don't!" Frisk warned. You looked at them and smiled warmly and confidently. "I'll be fine, just stay determined!" You said. This made Frisk lighten up. You sat next to Chara who paid no attention to you.

"C-Chara?" You said. You saw Sans giving you a look that asked, "are you crazy!" You smiled at him and gave him a look that told him to trust you. He just watched you do your thing.

"Chara? Cmon, talk to me here. I wanna help you," you said. She continued to sob into her knees.

"W-why bother try-ing? I'm b-broken and there's nothing y-you can do to-to fix me!" She said. She looked at you, her movements making a small trail of smoke behind her.

"I can try. Just let me do this, please Chara?" You say. You extended a hand to her and she started to cry more.

"Why are you being s-so nice to me!? I don't understand! I...I...." You shushed her and picked her up. She seemed to have a semi physical form. A few glitches, but otherwise normal.

"Trust me Chara. We can fix you, I promise," you said. She sniffled looking at you with eyes as innocent and cute as a young puppy.

"O-okay..." She said. You saw her soul emerge from her body, somehow. Her soul was broken nearly in half. It was blood red, but it had a radioactive green inside. It red made it start to recede back slightly.

"Seems it's trying to fight off this evil isn't it?" This made Chara whimper.

"S-sorry..." You said. Chara looked up at you again.

"It's okay...I....I forgive you...I forgive you!" They said, tears of joy coming from their eyes. You smiled, holding her hand and floating back to Frisk.

"I think we have another soul to SAVE Frisk!" You said, looking at Chara who had more pink on her cheeks than usual. Frisk was hesitant at first, but seeing Chara so willing to throw away a thousand years of work for this...filled them with DETERMINATION! They hugged her tightly like a sister. Chara was taken aback, but she soon fell into the hug, hugging Frisk and sobbing. The aura faded as you all floated down.
