Backstory: he was born on the planet Lothal, who the jedi order found out is force sensitive and went to get him when he was very young. But as the Jedi were taking him back to the temple they were attacked by pirates and when the pirates found out he was a force sensitive child. They took him and while making sure it seemed that everyone was killed on board to where the Jedi Order presume him dead. The pirates made him into a slave and assassin for them, when he turned old enough to do gruesome tasks like assassinating people who got in their way. But then the bounty hunter Cad Bane who was there to make a deal with the pirates that had him. Cad Bane took Duncan away into his ship, after he was sure the pirates were drunk enough to not notice that their slave and assassin was gone. Cad Then took Duncan under his wing, making him into a superb and merciless bounty hunter. But Cad and Duncan then had falling out when Cad found out that Duncan is force sensitive. To where they both went separate ways. After maybe 20-35 years later we come to where we are now. But one knows where he's at after the jedi purge has happened. Some say he is dead, others say he is back with the pirates who captured him, early in his life. But he's not since Hawke and him joined the ghost crew and the rebellion. But in an alternate universe he made it to the Jedi temple to where he becomes the troublesome Padawan to Jedi master Plo Koon.
