Looks: Berry's noticeably thinner than others of his kind, due to always having been denied food when he lost a Battle. He always wears a Green Silk Scarf.

Backstory: Berry used to have a Trainer by the name of Wesley, who eventually lost his patience with the Aipom's frequent losses. He put Berry's Ball in a trashcan, and the minute Berry came out and saw his Ball in his trash, he knew Wesley didn't want him anymore.

Eventually, Berry would meet Alair in Kalos, and they'd both start living in a deserted house and working in a cafe called Cafémon. Later down the line, they'd meet Sparkleflash and decide to let her live with them.

One day, while Berry was wearily walking home from work, Dottie noticed how skinny and tired the Aipom was. In an act of sympathy, she took him with her for some Curry (which ended up being the best meal Berry ever had). After this, he happily joined her team.

Personality and Characteristics: Being abandoned by Wesley left a deep wound on Berry's heart and has rendered the malnourished Aipom bitter and cynical. That being said, he also possesses quite a lot of Battling experience (even if his hunger-induced lethargy often hinders him) and likes to keep things organized (hence his storage job at Cafémon). He'll also ravenously devour any food he's offered and quickly develops loyalty towards others who offer him food, no strings attached.
