Hey, am I the one who's noticed that Miranda (Magenta's owner in the original show) is completely absent in the reboot? I know they probably couldn't find get Shannon Walker Williams back or find a replacement, but what's the in-universe explanation?

  Well, I think the show wouldn't (outright) reveal what happened to Miranda (especially if it was something like death), but Magenta would not like to talk about it. Anyway, with Miranda gone, Magenta would definitely need a new owner... but who?

  My guess? Lin-Manuel Miranda.

  His character would probably be known by Manny, and he would've been sent the public authorities to take care of Magenta due to the puppy living all by herself, even greeting Josh and Blue when they come over for a playdate in his debut episode. Magenta would be quite shy and nervous about her new owner at first (in what could be a updated version of "Shy"), only to learn that he's actually a really nice guy.

  Also, Josh and Manny would definitely become besties over a shared love for music and puppies. Would anyone else want to see a duet between Joshua Dela Cruz and Lin-Manuel Miranda? Please let me know in the comments below!
