Little bit of a backstory: Shiver is half SeaWing, because his dad wanted a SeaWing hybrid son. His mate, Silver, never approved this choice and hates him with a passion. Silver favours all his children, even the ones he is not related to, giving them more presents at Christmas etc when Shiver was lucky to get 1 from him. Frost kept loving him, however, and he still loves him even though Silver has tried to convince him to kill him and leave him somewhere multiple times. Silver once even tried to kill Shiver before Frost pulled out the 'threaten my dragonet again and I WILL divorce you.' threat. Silver has not layed a talon on his scales since, but Silver still has staring and ignorance on his side to make Shiver feel bad about nothing.
