Dai had Molly at a youngish age but not only that but Dai boyfriend was the God of the sun Apollo. Most demigods go to camp to be safe. Molly did not she ran away when she fond out  about her sun/light powers. On the run someone from HYDRA chapter her and turn her into a humaning killing machine until someone from SHIELD hinted about this and soon the avengers found her.
