Physical Appearance: Jason is slender with straight dark brown hair and blue eyes and he has fair skin.

Background: Jason is the second son of Amos and Celina Diggory and the younger brother of Cedric Diggory. Growing up Jason was very close to his older brother and loved him deeply. His father, Amos, would always show signs of favoring Cedric over Jason, as he always praised and bragged about his oldest son, which would make Jason feel left out and not as important to Cedric. While their mother was kind and loving to both of her sons, she traveled a lot and wasn't around that much. Despite all this, Jason was never jealous of his big brother, because Cedric would always care for and protect his little brother. Before going to Hogwarts Cedric and Jason played Quidditch together. When Jason goes to Hogwarts he pleads with the Sorting Hat to be in Hufflepuff like his brother.

Personality: Jason is a quiet and introvert boy, and dislikes the idea of being separated from his brother, Cedric, whom he has a close and strong bond with. Jason is very intelligent and loves books about the History of Magic and wants to learn everything there is. As his father works for The Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, Jason also has a love for magical creatures. When Jason begins to make friends of his own, he is shown to be caring, understanding and at times witty. He's also an animagus, as a badger.
