Personality: Abyss is quite shy around other dragons despite the "royal" status that follows him. He is a major scrollworm and has a fairly good memory.
Backstory: Abyss hatched in the royal hatchery along with his brother Oyster and sister Jewel. He was the smallest in their hatching and was picked on by Oyster. He never really roughhoused with his brothers or even Jewel much but preferred to spend his time in the library. His siblings found this boring and frequently hid his scrolls as a joke. Other than this, his first few years passed quite uneventfully. At the age of 8 his mother offered him the chance to attend the Treetop Academy and he accepted.
