Calliope arrived on earth when she was just barley a year old her start to earth wasn't very easy. Her biological parents were adventurers and had decided to see earth, however as they drew closer to earth their ship hit an asteroid resulting in their ship malfunctioning. During the descent to earth they began to crash, in the end the two did what they could to save their daughter. Hours after the crash the DEO found the crash site, finding Calliope alive with injures they took her before cleaning the site up. Once they nursed the baby back to health they worked to find a group of scientists they trusted that could take her in eventually landing on the knight household. Throughout her childhood she had a fairly 'normal' upbringing except the fact she was in her true form throughout her entire childhood that was until she was in her early teens.

Once she learned to control her forms she took to Barrel racing in her free time, something her parents were very hesitant to let her do even if she had a much lower chance of getting hurt. When she was allowed to finish her last few years of highschool she began to learn how to interact with humans as well as how to remain more hidden from their gaze, once she finished high-school she set her sights on National city university eventually leaving home for the university.

Once the female finished gaining her degree in Biotechnology she applied for an intern job at L-corp eventually rising through the ranks as she continued to study Biotechnology as well as Nanotechnology, eventually she began to help put out new technology as well as pitch invention ideas before she began to work under Lena luthor herself on some projects the two eventually became close friends due to their many lab hours spent together.
