Clothing: wears the female Shujin Academy uniform, followed by black leggings underneath the school skirt, and red gloves. She also wears black boots.

Summer clothing: wears a white shirt and black leggings followed by black flats.

Winter clothing: wears a black pea coat, brown knee-high boots and black leggings.

Swimwear: she wears a dark green two piece bathing suit with matching sandals, and a shawl to wrap around her when she's not in the water.

Formal wear: she wears a blue and white yukata with green flowers on it, and has her cherry blossom hairpin in her hair.

Family: Munehisa Iwai is her biological father, however, she sees Karou, who is Iwai's adoptive son as her brother only.

Bio: Kari didn't live it easy, considering her father used to be yakuza, but she never dared spoke about it, and whenever she tried to talk to him about her past, he would shoot her down every time. Until she got into Shujin Academy. During her first two years, she didn't do very well, since her and Karou weren't that close, but as soon as she entered her third year and she met Akechi, things changed. They changed even more after meeting transfer student Akira Kurusu and he discovered that she was Iwai's daughter.

In order to get her Confidant, which is the same as Makoto's, Priestess, the protagonist, which is Akira, has to have Dauntless guts, similar to Iwai, only until you rank her up to Rank 5, then once you do, you have to have your charm to be Debonair before you take things further. Once you max her confidant, you can either have her as a friend or a romance option. If you choose to romance her, then her Persona will have a second awakening. That's only if you get her rank up to 9, which is Protect, where she can protect Joker from an upcoming attack. She'll also have the Endure ability as well. Plus Harisen Recovery and the other abilities that come with ranking her up such as Follow-Up Attack, etc.

Phantom Thief Attire: Kari wears a black coat over a skin-tight leather suit, blood-red gloves, black pants, and black knee-high combat boots. Also wears a wolf mask over her eyes, similar to Joker's except for the color.

Personality: she's like Makoto, loyal to the end, but also doesn't see things like most people do, and hates having adults telling her what to do, except for her father. When Kari gets upset, it's with reason. She's not one to get upset easily, but if there's a reason, it can't be without its purpose. She can be sweet at times, but piss her off, and you won't like what you see. She's had it quite rough since her mother died. She's also into Egyptian lore, since her mother was an archaeologist before she met Iwai.

Other: she is deaf in both ears and wears hearing aids.

Likes: spicy food, books, jewelry, (a certain kind), Akira, hanging out with her friends, and history.
