She loves nature, whether it be the sounds of birds singing in the morning, the fresh scent of flowers or just the overflowing greenery. Everything just seems happy, peaceful and she loves it.

- Being with family
Family is everything to Emerald. She couldn't bare to lose them. She loves each one of them and would do anything for any one of them. Anything.

- Animals but prefers Horses overall

She loves animals, their soft fur, patting them. How each has their own personality. However, there's just something about horses that she draws her in.

Happiness. She just wants everyone to be happy. She would even sacrifice herself for others happiness, particularly when it comes to family.

Although even if they do, she would normally keep silent. Particularly if its about herself. She cries and gets upset easily and rarely gets angry. However still, that person would often be lowered in her eyes from the pedestal they stood upon. Particularly if they insult her family.

It's the sad truth. She hates herself, or at least parts of herself. She hates that she is cursed. She hates that she is so weak. She hates that she killed her mother.

Every time in the past when she was in the center of attention she was bullied. She always is afraid to stuff up, or that something will happen. Thus, she often stumbles or looses her train of thought when in the center of attention.

She wants to be good at everything, to be able to make everyone happy. Thus why she partially will do anything for anyone. She feels like she needs to be the best she can be for both her family and particularly her mother. But also because she survived when she shouldn't have as a baby.

If there is one thing that sums up Emerald, it is that she's quiet. It's not that she doesn't want to talk, she really does but sometimes its hard for her to say things or its hard to but in. When she does talk, she talks softly.

Her voice rarely raises. She barely gets angry. When she does it has to be about something she cares a lot about. But she never yells nor argues, it is extremely rare for her to do so and if she does. You know something must be terribly wrong.

Because of this, it is easy for her to be walked over. Paired with her ignorance towards most things people can easily manipulate her. Ask her to do things. She will never speak out against something and the word 'no' is not in her vocabulary. She feels like she owes the world. Not only for letting her live but because of her mother and her curse. Thus she would nearly do anything for anybody. This also makes her very self-sacrificing.

Emerald is seemingly innocent and pure. She has no ill intentions and always wants the best for everyone. She normally has a soft little smile on her face and is often found to be sweet. She rarely lies. Again, the word 'no' is not in her vocabulary. However she doesn't like talking about some things, particularly her curse or her mother.

She relies on her brother a lot. If she's sad, she goes straight to him. Never anyone else. Just him. Then her father. She never goes to anyone else. If her brother isn't there, nor her father she would normally be found crying in a lone corner.

Secretly, she blames herself for her mothers death. What is there not to blame? Her mother died giving birth to her, and no matter how much her family tells her she isn't, there is that small part of her that knows the truth. She was.

Her mothers death, paired with the curse she can really hate herself sometimes. All she does is create mayhem and pain. But she wants to live and be happy, if not for herself then for her family, her mother.

Emerald is the youngest and only daughter of the Braxley family. A middle class family who is sweet and known for their honesty and firm family values. Rosaline, her mother died while giving birth to Emerald. This however wasn't the end of the families troubles. Little Emerald was born prematurely and her chances of survival were extremely low. Somehow, however a miracle happened and she survived with the families prayers. She made it. She slowly grew up like any other normal child but the neighbours started blaming the young innocent girl for the death of her mother. They started calling her names. Bad luck. Shadow. The words repeat in her head at night sometimes. Her brother managed to silence them, yet their taunting only deepened the wound of her mothers death.
