Personality: "I choose to be happy today." For Ariella, happiness is a choice she makes, every year, every day. Happiness is what every single person struggles to achieve. It is what everyone wants, for both themselves and their loved ones. Ariella constantly has a smile on her lips, that said, occasionally it is fake. Fake it until you believe it. When upset, she does have a little cry, like a young child that has lost its teddy, before pulling herself out, snapping a smile onto those lips of hers until she truly is happy. A laugh sometimes helps as well. Another key to her happiness is her stubbornness. Not determination, stubbornness. She refuses to let anything stop her from doing what she wants. If someone tells her not to do something, she will do it, jus to spite them. If she doesn't want to wear that death contraption called heels, she won't. She even will attempt at sowing if it means she will get out of it. Of course, we all can see how that will fail. But she will to give up, and will not admit she needs help. That said, if there is overwhelming logic to it, she will let her mind overcome her stubbornness. But that is rarely! It takes a lot to anger her in the first place, always the optimist, after all, everyone must have a reason should they not? The evil stepmother in Cinderella was never truly evil. She was just a mother trying to do the best for her children. First, she herself had to marry otherwise she would become poor and broke. Then, she had to ensure her children make good marriages, so they would be able to have a happy life. Something that often occurred during the time it was set in. Cinderella herself? She reflected her father, a man the stepmother knew of whom still loved her mother. Not her. She hated it that she would never be able to find love again. Then, when Cinderella grew, and tragedy struck, she was happy. And that irritated her due to how much she, herself was stressing over trying to bring up three children with no money while seeming like they did in fact have wealth.

Alas, fortunately that is not Ariella's story. Although lower class, and often playing in mud and on the streets in comparison to sitting on a lone window sill reading a perfectly good book, she was happy. She likes climbing trees, yelling, running, and doing everything that people told her not to. Or presumed they would tell her not to. It was easier to ask for forgiveness then permission in some instances, especially when deciding to spread glitter all over someone's made bed. Or glueing the middle piece of the Christmas tree to the ceiling as a replacement chandelier. (People never look up when their looking for things). If you cannot already guess, she loved her little pranks. Often, they do get a little out of hand, however no one has been harmed by them, yet. Although their dignity may have.

With her knack of well thought out plans of which benefit her own amusement, ie. Pranking, comes along her imagination. Most likely the most important of her character. If you look like a mouse, you look like a mouse. If that shade of red makes the silks of the curtains look like its about to gobble someone up, it does. Even when she is bored, she uses her imagination to move the tables and chairs to her will. Of course, it isn't happening, but dancing furniture is always fun. It even comes to play when she is trying to remember names. Something that she sucks at, and preferring to come up with a nickname instead.

Although, she can seem like an airhead, liking to sing and dance without a care for the world what others think of her. (She is happy, is she not?) She can be oddly serious at times. Her wisdom can astound people when she chooses to, just that choice doesn't happen often and usually depends on the situation.

She loves to help others. More then she should. If someone is crying, she will go straight up to them, hugging them and asking what is wrong. That can often lead to them leaning on her, leaving their problems to bare on her shoulders and using her as a psychologist. If she ever does get it into her head she is being used, she will hold a grudge against you forever. Once her mind is made up, it is almost impossible to break. Her own problems however, she hides away under a fake smile of hers until they are gone. Choosing to work each one out herself rather then confide in others. Not that she doesn't trust them, but, however, causing them to worry over her. She doesn't want anyone to worry, she wants them to be happy. Also, she is afraid of using others for her problems.

She is loyal. Would do anything for anyone. Or almost. She wouldn't exactly jump off a cliff for anyone, unless strapped to a bungy cord that has been tested beforehand. However, she is trustworthy, and if someone needs, not demands her to do something. She would. Even if that would break her by doing it. As long as it helps them. After all, she would get over it, wouldn't she?

Likes: She likes many things. Often scrumptious delights such as chocolates, strawberries and other fruits, all except melons. Par watermelon of course! Chocolate Mousse being her favorite food. She loves horses, despite not getting one after nineteen years of wishing for them when blowing out the flickering candles on her birthday. (How she realized birthday wishes do not come true, even when telling no one). As for people, she likes kind, caring souls. Just like every single other person out there. She loves running, singing (although she is terrible at it), using her imagination, climbing trees, pranks and other fun action pact activities. She also adores doing exactly what she is told not to do. She loves hugs, and being complimented, like any other sane person as well.

Dislikes: Melons except watermelon. Want something a bit deeper? Well, people telling her what to do, to start and how to act. She will do as she wishes, and can she help it if she is childish nearly all the time? She despises those who wish to use her and those who make her choose between two people. They are both her friends, both make her happy, thus why not choose both? She despises being sad and insulted. She also hates mosquitoes and tea.

Flaws: She has many flaws. To name a few:

Trusting. She is far too trusting of people. She will happily go and hug someone when first meeting them, never suspecting anyone to do any wrong. Even if they look dark and dangerous.

Stubbornness. She refuses to budge, unless sound logic reasons with it and that the possibility that she is right is basically 0%. Even in her mind.

Disobedience. She will do exactly what you say not to do. Even if there is a big massive sign saying WARNING: DO NOT ENTER. She'll just be a bit more cautious when entering. It is an adventure. And an adventure is fun, after all.

Helpfulness. Her willingness to do anything for anyone. Literally, anyone. She cannot stand to see people in pain, or sad. And even if that costs her own happiness she will do it.

Obliviousness. She can be oblivious to those of whom have ill intentions. Especially when it comes into play with other factors, such as her willingness to do nearly anything for anyone.

Backstory: Being poor, she never exactly got the new toys to play with. New books. And although her parents did want to spoil her, they couldn't. She had a small tiny home, and is the only child, not being able to afford another. However, that didn't stop her from having fun. Instead of having new things to occupy her, she turned to her imagination. Imagining a whole range of things to keep her happy. Her imagination became so important in her life, that it made it impossible to fall asleep without delving into a daydream beforehand.

As a young child, she had a neighbour called Myrtle. However, she never knew that until she was fifteen years of age and had moved to yet an even smaller home. Instead, she knew she had a neighbour called Turtle and a friend called Dizzy. Growing up, she continued to use her imagination to remember people's names, however failed in doing so. Names being one of the main things she forgets in her life.

When she was sixteen, she went through a troubled time. One of her close friends had started to spin insults at her, and she, without realizing it at the time had fallen victim to bullying. Although she was happy during the day, smiling and laughing like everything was normal, at night she burst into tears with the insults were hurled at her. While this happened, she confided everything to another friend, leaning on his shoulder for support, ranting to him. In the end, she had a fight with him. About her using him only for a shoulder to lean on, rather then a friend. Since then she chose not to ever confide in anyone with her problems. Choosing to keep them to herself out of fear of others abandoning her like he had.

Six months later, he came back, apologising for what he had done. She accepted him, blaming herself for what happened. They went back to talking, laughing, smiling. Never any problems however. Then, a few weeks after, he confided in her that her other friend, the one of whom bullied her, unknown to her. Had decided it would be fun if he pretended it was all okay between the two before having him leave, saying he could never be her friend. Despite that, they had become friends once again, and he hadn't left her since. Only a year later did she realise that she had been bullied by her other so-called friend, and painfully cut all ties with him. ((Usually don't do a sob story, but explains a bit)). Despite all the above, she is a happy child. Keeping her past hidden away, not even her own parents know, and smiling throughout the day. Whenever she is down, she reminds herself she has been through worse, even if it is not true.

All in all, she grew up a happy life, despite the drama in her life. She always had a smile on her face in spite of the world. She had two loving parents, and she wouldn't change a thing for the world.
