He's good friends with Aki and Tenshi. He was found by Aki and Tenshi when they were strolling on the beach. Raimu was found on shore slowly dying in need of water. Aki wanted to learn about his species so he calls his team to take him to the lab and set a pool there for him. Once they finish learning about him Aki decided to create a formula so he can transform into a human and a mermaid whenever he wants to. Thus making him really curious about the world and wanting to travel all around the world.
