BACKSTORY |
Mary Bradbury was a Salem witch who was said to transform into a blue boar and cast spells over ships. Mary had many friends who testified on her behalf, preventing her execution. Like Sheila Bennett said "It takes a lot more to catch a real witch." Few centuries later Faith is born into the Bradbury line, one of the most powerful witch lines. Faith had always disappointed her family, dying her hair, getting a nose piercing, basically being a 21st century girl, while her parents were VERY old fashioned. Her parents basically started neglecting her and not caring what she did and started focusing on her older sister Gwendolyn who hated Faith and Faith hated her. Faith had practiced magic by herself a lot and became a very powerful witch. When Stefan Salvatore found out when meeting her at school, he recruited her to help, and she accepted, wanting to get back at her parents. She comes from the only witch line that can turn into a boar and hers is purple.
