Background Info:

Oscar Pine may have been a normal, typical farm boy from Mistral. But unbeknownst to everyone in Remnant, he was in-fact Kal-El, a humanoid alien from a dying planet called Krypton. His biological parents Jor-El and Lara Lor Van managed to put Baby Kal on a small pod ship and flew it away before they & everyone died when Krypton exploded itself.

He was found by a normal, good farmers & couple, Richard & Emily Pine. They adopted him after they discovered his alien origins as their own child & named Oscar Pine. When Oscar was in school, his alien abilities began to appear which led the Pine family decide to reveal him the truth. Despite his shocking revelations, he rejected it at first but Richard gives Oscar an inspirational words that he maybe an alien but he is a good person in his heart.

A few years later when Oscar was in Pre-Teen, tragedy strikes when Richard suddenly dies because of unknown illness. His death change Oscar's life as he vowed to be a good person that his foster father promised and support his foster mother.

After finding the Fortress of Solitude and his meeting his biological father through hologram, he accepted his destiny as the Last Son of Krypton and introduce to Remnant as Superman.
