Name: Maiyaku

Appearance: She has long golden hair, catlike eyes, and fangs much like Kiba's. She's slender, not very curvy, and she's slightly short. Her eye color changes based off of which personality is in control. She has red markings on her cheeks that resemble whiskers.

Personality: She's two people in one, sort of like Zetsu. Her two peoples have separate minds, thought they share the same body. One is called Mai, and the other is referred to as Yaku.

Mai: When she's in control, her eyes are magenta. She's sweet and kinda childish.She's the nice side, the gentle and kind one.

Yaku: She's sassy and gets angry quickly. When she's in control her eyes are silver. She's the bossy one who's in control a lot. Kinda mean, she's pretty strong and enjoys a long, drawn out fight, or as she calls it; "Toying with the garbage ninja."

Backstory: Her mother was a Hyuuga who cheated on her husband with an Uzumaki. That was why Maiyaku's DNA got messed up and allowed her to have both the Rinnegan and the Byakugan. Her mother killed her husband after the child was born, and then married the girl's real father, an Uzumaki. Her parents were manipulative and disinterested towards her, and she learned to hide and blend into the background eerily well, becoming almost invisible. At the age of six, Itachi and a group of Anbu assassinated her mother and father for treason. The group was about to leave when Shisui noticed the small girl watching from around the corner. Itachi went to comfort her, as she just saw them kill her parents. Her response was a bit chilling, as she simply looked up, one eye magenta and one eye silver, and quietly thanked them, not elaborating any further. Shisui took her to the hokage immediately, and she was given to Kakashi to be raised. She took up his habit of wearing a mask covering the lower half of her face after becoming a genin. This frustrated the other students, as they had never payed attention to her and then couldn't remember what her face looked like without the mask. But she never took off the mask after that. On her seventh birthday, it was revealed that she had the Byakugan in both eyes, presumably since the death of her parents. She was placed on Team Guy a year after it was formed. This meant that when team seven was formed, she was placed on Might Guy's team as an extra shinobi. However she spent more of her time with Kakashi's team to avoid Neji, who disliked her and spited her at every turn. 

She was kidnaped by Kabuto when the attack on Konohagakure failed. Surprisingly, she didn't resist, therefore technically leaving the village of her own free will. After that she was experimented on by Orochimaru. She also was injected with DNA samples from both Kimimaro and Guren. She survived both of the experiments, though she almost died after receiving Kimimaro's DNA. The experiments were a success though, and she gained a painful and weakened version of the Kekkei Genkai of the two. After that she was given a curse mark and trained alongside Sasuke. She left the base a week before Sasuke killed Orochimaru. She didn't return.

After she left she started losing sight to her right eye. She fought against Kabuto a while later. During the fight she got a headache and lost the ability to see out of her right eye completely. That turned the battle in Kabuto's favor, as she now had a blind spot. She activated her remaining Byakugan in an attempt to defeat Kabuto, and her chakra surged, replenishing itself. She ran away, losing Kabuto in a forest, and stopped beside a lake since her headache had gotten worse, and when she sat down she saw that her right eye was completely white. That scared her and she pulled her headband down to cover her eye. The next day she was aware of a slight burning sensation behind her eyes, and when she looked at her reflection she saw that her left eye had the Byakugan activated. In her right eye was another Kekkei Genkai that she didn't recognize. It was purple and had three rings around her pupil. She was found by Kisame, who took her to the Akatsuki base. She was recruited for her Rinnegan, and because Pain wanted to find out where Orochimaru was. She was placed on the Deidera-Itachi team. While she was in the Akatsuki, Mai was in control most of the time, leaving her with a slightly Tobi-like personality. She got along well with most of them, except for Hidan and Tobi. She avoided Tobi a lot since she could tell that he wasn't as naive as he seemed, and she was worried that since he pretended to be childish, he would be able to see through her as well. She got along the best with Zetsu and Itachi.

Seeing as she didn't trust them, she left the Akatsuki after a while, using her Rinnegan to escape without being killed. As time went on, the more she trained with her Rinnegan, the more rings it developed. She eventually simply became a rogue ninja, hunting down bounties. She ran into Kabuto and her old teammates a few times, but none of them ever succeeded in capturing or killing her.  She had similar goals to Kabuto, hoping to find a place where she belonged. 

In the end, she ended up helping him with the orphanage when she wasn't training with Orochimaru or teaching Mitsuki.

While she was in the Akatsuki, she developed a technique that allowed her to have either the Byakugan in both eyes, or the Rinnegan in both eyes. The side effect was that after the jutsu was released, it ate up a massive amount of chakra depending on how much she used it, and she would usually pass out a few hours later. This made that jutsu her last trick incase she was going to lose a battle.

Dislikes: Hot weather, coyotes, owls, frilly dresses, being impractical, things not going correctly, failures.

Kekkei Genkai: She has both the Rinnegan and the Byakugan. Her Rinnegan is in her right eye, while the Byakugan is in her left. However, she can also use a jutsu that gives her the Rinnegan in both eyes, or the Byakugan in both eyes. She has the crystal release and the ability to use her bones as a weapon like Kimimaro.

Strengths: Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Speed, Agility, she's a fast reader, and  Ice style jutsu.

Weaknesses: Fire style jutsu and Genjutsu.

Genin appearance: Her hair hangs down to her shoulders, and she has red whiskers on her face. She's skinny, and is practically five feet tall, a tiny bit shorter than Sasuke.

Genin outfit(s): She wore a simple ninja outfit and leggings. She also usually wore a jacket of some sorts.

Chunin appearance: Her hair now hangs a little less then halfway down her back, and the whiskers on her face have turned black. She's a little more slenderly curved, and is now 5 ft 1&1/2 inches tall, about a head shorter than Kabuto.

Chunin outfit(s): She wears the same style of uniform as Kimimaro, though hers is a little paler.

Other Chunin outfit:

Shippuden appearance: She's taller, still slender, and the whiskers on her face have faded away. She has a five-pronged seal on her stomach, and a curse mark on her neck. She has a similar figure to Sakura. Her hair hangs a halfway down her back. She also wears her slashed leaf village headband in the same fashion as Kakashi, so it covers her right eye.

Shippuden outfit(s): She either wears armor, or the same style of battle dress as Konan, but less revealing as hers isn't open at the back, and her waist is wrapped with bandages.

Shippuden height: 5 ft 6 inches-5 feet 7&1/2 inches

Adult appearance: She's about 5 feet 8&1/2 inches tall. Her figure is similar to Karin's. Her hair now reaches the base of her spine.

Adult outfit(s): She usually wears a kimono of some sorts.
