Brooke Morgan | Human
Name: Brooke Lotus Morgan
Nickname: Brooke doesn't care what you call her. Secretly adores the nicknames Lotus and Flower.
Age: Twenty-one

-
Appearance: Brooke is average for a female, maybe a bit above average. She stands at 5'6 and has a generally thin, fit body from being a swimmer. Brooke's hair is long, reaching past her shoulders, but not quite too her hips or anything. There's a lot of curl to her hair, and she can straighten it, but that only lasts a couple hours before it goes back to its curliness. Brooke has some freckles, but they're really faint you might not even see them. Her eyes are a dark brown but in some lights they look lighter.
Basic description: Slightly taller female with curly, long red hair and brown eyes.
Noticeable trait(s): Curly hair
-
Personality: Brooke doesn't want her feelings. She wants to be able to block everything out. After years of drilling these thoughts into her head, she believes she's a sociopath. But she's not. She has emotions and she doesn't like them. To strangers Brooke comes off as quiet and probably dull, because she's a calm person. But if you manage to get close to her, Brooke might let herself feel. In this weird way, listening to others is more therapeutic than talking to others, because it almost lets her know people are feeling what she is feeling. This makes her a really good listener, and if you get close enough to where she actually likes you; Brooke's not gonna let you get hurt. She's not possessive, not in the slightest, she wants people to live their own life, but she likes to keep an eye on you and will go violent if someone she loves gets hurt. Like an angry mama bear.
Brooke isn't usually violent. She can get all protective, but she's not the one to make threats or anything like that. If she does make threats though, she's gonna keep them. But yeah, for the most part, she's not violent. She doesn't mind death or blood, and is not the type of person to step in if somebody she doesn't care about is being attacked. Honestly, she'd probably just watch. Well, unless she begins feeling guilty, in which she'll leave because she don't want those feelings.
The young woman is also very honest. She says things like they are, so be other people's feelings. That is; unless she really likes that person. In which she might try to soften the words. But usually she doesn't care. Although she is very smart because of her belief, she wouldn't be caught dead rambling to strangers like the typical "genius." If she gets close to somebody and they seem interested, Brooke can get really invested in a conversation; and ready for it? She'll ramble. But yeah, not to strangers. Never to strangers.
Strengths: Pretty fit, good listener, smart, honest, can be loyal
Weaknesses: Blank, can seem dull, apathetic, cold, anti-social
Likes: Swimming, her parents, listening to people's problems, hugs (secretly), honesty, learning
Dislikes: Fakes, her own feelings, authority, fear, being confined, therapy, being forced to open up
-
Hobbies/Skills: She's a really great swimmer and knows some hand-to-hand combat.
Originated From: Chicago, Illinois
Backstory: Brooke had a pretty normal childhood. She never had any siblings, but her parents were really good people. When she was sixteen, her father was shot by somebody who tried robbing a bank. He was caught in the crossfire. Brooke was there when he died, and it really messed with her head. Her mother tried to save her, sending her to therapy and everything like that. It never worked and when nobody could "fix" her, Brooke grew lost. Brooke was even given her mother's wedding ring, trying to be nice. That only kept Brooke from forgetting what she had seen. In the midst of her trauma, it was placed in her mind that something had to be wrong with her. She was seventeen when she started believing she had unlocked ten percent more of her brain. She told her mother, and her mother decided on that Brooke was crazy, not savable. Brooke was shunned ever since then, and when still she still wasn't coping like a normal person because she couldn't cry, her mother started calling her a sociopath. It sort of clicked for her, and she agreed to it. For the time being, she is staying with her mother, but they avoid each other like the plague so she lives alone and does whatever she wants. She can't get a job because of her record, but she gets by.
Other: She's been to jail five times (Two times for no reason but her mom wanted her out of the house. Once for witnessing a murder and being accused of it after saying nothing. Once for stealing. Once for having a knife on her, which was for self-defense) but she's never been to prison.
