Revelation 22:12-14 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

WORKS

We are not saved by doing good... yet we may have a right to the tree of life and be part of the City God is preparing for His people if... we do His commandments. It isn't our works that will enable us to get a share of what God is preparing for His people... we get what God has prepares by becoming His people... and doing His commandments declare to whom we belong. Whether we like it or not our works that has manifested on the outside declares who we truly are in the inside... our faith has changed us and it is still changing us glory to glory.
Our works declares to whom we belong... and reveals our identity.
1 John 3:7-10 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Our works in the LORD is our progress. Christianity is not about perfection is about our progression in the LORD Jesus Christ. And so celebrate every step or milestone you have in faith... in your walk with God. Don't focus on how long the journey will take... but by how far you've been gone from where you are from.

Our works tells us that our faith is alive.
Faith without works is dead. Maintain good works is like our daily breathing. Its constant... maintained... sustained. Works keeps our faith alive in God... as so the words 'Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.' Have faith.
