1 John 3:18-19 Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions. Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God.

Love is an action and a truth.
Yes, love is an expression not so in emotion though it is with affection... but its essence is in the action. You can't love with words... love is meant to be seen more than for it to be heard. It's value is in the works that speaks of it. You can't just say you love and yet you do nothing for the person you love. Love is an act, an imparting of yourself...through the act you do. As faith is dead without works, so is love without works is dead. For love to be alive it has to have works. It breathes that way.
So, the weight of love is in the action not the words... its heart or core is in the things you do that affirms others of the love they see in you.
But as important as the work is the message behind it... every work is a heart. A heart grounded on a truth so that every work will not be a deception of what is. Because a work can mean another thing no matter how good it may seem and that is why love is truth.

Love is truth. It has one side and it is truth. You can't say that and have a different meaning... it isn't a lie... it is unchangeable and firm. It doesn't change, it is contant. Our love should be like that unchanging in this changing world. So love as a truth, stands unchanged even if our circumstances change. Its value or degree stays the same in every seasons of life to every person it is given... as the truth is. Truth is without any trace of lie or deception... it's genuine... real! It says and act on what it says. It doesn't hide, it reveals... uncovers. It's clear... it sheds light on every mind and heart. It's good. It's true.
This truth will then speak in its works. That's love for everyone.
