Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Do you really KNOW GOD?
Are you confident enough to say, 'I KNOW GOD'?

How do you know, you know God? Do other people know, you know God?

Knowing God is the foundation of the relationship you have with Him.

In school, we have test and examination, through it, you will know and your teacher will know you have learned the subjects discussed... you will see your standing through your grades or scores. When we work, we have practices, implementation of our skills or knowledge, or acts of services to see our knowledge of the field we are in ... our performace to the task at hand proves our knowledge. And through it we are being evaluated, to be promoted or demoted base on what we have come to know or acquire.

Knowledge of God is essential... and it can be verified:

How?

1. By your Words
This is the first and not the ultimate measuring of your relationship with God.
The words we speak is a product of what is inside of us... by the abundance of the heart the mouth speak. It declares what you have in you... what you have known.

2. By your Obedience
This declares your heart... 'if your love me obey my commands...' Jesus said in the Gospel. Obedience is not just about works... it is importantly the heart of every works. Obedience is not about doing what is commanded of you... it is valuing, respecting the one commanding you that you do it as honoring Him. It isn't doing the commands, it is delighting in it. As one preacher has said in DesiringGod, you love what you ought to do (not the exact phrase though).

3. By your Works

Our obedience in the LORD produces Good works.... maintained good works in our lives. Ministry!
You will know, you know God by the ministry you have for His glory. This is not just the good acts you do but this is service and sacrifice.
And this is seen clearly through your mondays - saturdays not just on your sunday service acts... This is lifestyle, your living.
Titus 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. This declares your faith... And gives God the glory.
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

And that is how you know you KNOW GOD. These three go together and they can't be apart. They are one in themselves and it is what consist in knowing God - Your Words, Obedience, and good Works.
