Mark 14:38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. KJV

When temptation comes, I AM READY!

Saturate your life with spiritual things so that in times of battle against your spirit and flesh... your spirit will win.

1. Be Mindful (WATCH)
A. Have the Mind of the LORD
Philippians 2:2-5 'fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.'
Having the same mind with our LORD, will make us think differently with what life throws at us, we experience struggle, pain, famine and persecution yet we see a much bigger picture... PURPOSE. With that being said, no circumstances will ever dictate what response I will ever give. In every action I make is my declaration of being mindful of the LORD. It is living for the audience of the One and so, I am careful to act because I care about Him.
Being mindful of the LORD is to care for Him... and if I truly care about Him then I am to have His mind... His heart. To know what He desires and will for me and to pursue it with my whole heart.
B. Take heed of Yourself
Pay attention, look after yourself... What you feed yourself and what comes out of you.
1 Timothy 4:16 'Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.'
It is an act of saving yourself... working out your own salvation and those who sees your life.
It may be the you have fed yourself with unclean things that unclean thing has come out of you. Be mindful of what you hear, see and get only those that profits your  spirit in the LORD.
C. Stay FOCUS
Embrace your goal and remain focused on it. This is how we continue to live by staying focus in the LORD. Our goal is Christlikeness, being aware of it is not enough you need to focus on it and let not any distraction lead you any other way. Watch what you watch... it will determine what your focus is. Stay in the Way of life.

2. Work-out Your Devotion to God (PRAY)
A. Intimacy with God
Praying is talking to God... this build up intimacy with God... you'll be close to Him as you get to know more of Him. Your knowledge of Him will lead you to love Him. There's an intimacy in prayer... God reveals Himself through it more to us in the measure of what we know of Him by our study of Him. This solidify your knowledge of Him.
Your strong connection, relationship with God will enable and strengthen you to fight in victory over your temptations.
Temptation has a deeper roots, it deals with your desires... this can only be replace by desiring God more in your life. Intimacy with God is that declaration.
B. Your life as Worship
Worship is not on sunday, not just on what you do everything but your whole life is a Worship. Imagine your life right now... think of an activity you do in leisure... if it is worship then go on if not your wasting time. Life is simply, you have to DO IT IN THE LORD AND FOR THE LORD. Everything has to be DONE IN THE LORD. Life should be WORSHIP. It is meant that way.
This simplifies your life, it take out unnecessary things in life and it reveals what is important. It leads you to a continuous good living in the LORD even in moments of testing.

Having done all that, I say... 'YOU ARE READY.' Are you? By His Spirit, you will be. Be ready to say, I AM READY!
