Hebrews 11:13-16 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Our faith declares the course we take in this life journey we are in and for it to be true faith it has to go in the way of the LORD.

In faith, there's vision. Faith allows us to see the uncertainty in hopefulness. It sees the situation as it is, 'not having received the promises', yet it focuses on the good of every situation and hopes, 'but having seen them afar off'. It sees the future in the light even in the event of unseen promises.

In faith, there is persuasion and acceptance of God's Word or promises and so it stands even in moments of lacking. Suffering may speak to you in your crucial moments of shakening yet it will not dictate the course of your life... you are convinced of God... that He is faithful and He is good.

In faith, there's strength to go on. You can live the life God called you to live... because of your hope in His promise to you. There may be opportunity to turn your back on Him yet your desire and hope in Him is so alive in you. Your faith in Him sets and lets you pursue Him.

In faith, there's identity and belongingness. You know who you are in Him... and this allows you to accept what you have and can have and may not have in this world for the glory of your God in your life. And as for God, He... 'is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.' He is for you and He will reward you...

Just BE IN FAITH! Surely you will be in the right track.... Have faith!
