I woke up the next morning to find the place strangely quiet. The boys weren't sleeping next to me like they usually did. I got out of bed and walked into the kitchen to see......

"Levy!?" I yelled.
"Morning Lu-chan." She smiled.
"Why are you at mine?"
"I wanted to pay a visit."
"How'd you get in?"
"You gave me the spare key."
"Why so early?"
"It's 11:30 in the morning."
"What are you cooking?"
"Fish." She replied.

"Fish?" I questioned
"Fish." She clarified. "Any more questions?"
"One more." I pursued. "You don't like fish, why are you cooking it?"
"It's not for me silly!" She laughed. "It's for your kittens."

My kittens. Kittens.

So she's seen them in Neko form.

"Ahh, right okay." I smiled. "Well I'll just go and check on th-" I was interrupted.
"LUSHEE~" Natsu purred. Oh crap.
"Master Lucy, you're finally awake." Gray smiled. They were both peeping out from behind the door, smiling at me merrily. In human form. I looked over at Levy; as I expected, her face was full of shock and confusion.

"M-master Lucy...?" Levy muttered.
I had a lot of explaining to do.

I told Levy everything. I could trust her, right? She is my best friend, I shouldn't be doubting her really.
"S-so, these two boys are...."
"Neko-People." I confirmed. She stared at me for a while, almost like what I just told her was trying to sink in. Then she smiled.
"Awwww! They're so KAWAII!" She squealed, ruffling Natsu's hair. Phew!

"How do you know that we can trust her?" Gray whispered in my ear. I gave him a death glare, and he started to panic.
"N-never mind" he stuttered, waving his hands frantically.

"So, what do you know about Neko-People?" Levy asked me.
"Umm..... They like to eat fish, they can turn from a cat to a half-human-thingy and they're very loyal to their master." I answered. Levy just sighed.
"No, I meant scientifically." She corrected.
"Oh." I said. "Well, nothing then."

"Hmm, let's go to the library then! We can learn a lot from a book." Levy smiled.
"Levy, you do know that nowadays there are things called smartphones, and we can look up whatever we want on a thing called the internet." I teased.
"Tch, I just wanted to go outside." She scoffed.
"Ugh, fine. We'll go." I sighed. So the four of us set off for the library.

At the library, Levy found a book about Neko-People and began to read it aloud:

"Neko-People are mythological creatures that originally look like kittens, but can transform into a male or female human with a tail and cat ears. Their purpose was to please their master by doing as their master commanded."

"Mythological creatures...." I muttered. "But how can Natsu and Gray be real if they're just myths?" Levy skipped a few pages in the book and began to read aloud again:

"Some scientists experimented on the creation of these creatures, and they succeeded, making an entire new species by using human and cat DNA, along with other illegal chemicals. Neko-People were trained to clean, love and protect, and were then to be sold at a very high price to whoever wanted them."

Levy took a breath.
"You're not gonna like this next bit Lu-chan," she muttered. "It's very frank and straightforward."
"Read it anyway." I said determinedly.

"However, there was a high demand for Neko-People to be trained as sexual partners, so they were also trained to be very good in bed. They would follow their masters orders obediently and make them feel pleasure, and they were taught not to hesitate when 'following an order'."

"That's sick." I gasped. "Who in the right mind would do that?"

Levy continued to read:
"There was one specific man who devoted his life to the training of Neko-People. He neglected his family and became extremely rich by selling them. His name was.... H-his name..was.."

"What's his name Levy?" I asked, getting impatient.
