Gracie's POV

"Gracie, I might have to stay late at the zoo today." Julie tells me through the phone.

"What, why?" I ask. I try not to sound tired. I've been very tired lately and I don't know why.

"One of the penguin's eggs hatched and it's very complicated because the child isn't following the mother and my boss-"

"It's ok, stay as long as you need. Call me once you finished." I sigh.

"Thank you. Have fun with Lay. Oh, tell Tao for me please. We were suppose to go to the park together tonight."

"Ok. Good bye."

"Bye."

I hang up and groan. Not having my best friend with me around boys is really tough. Julie is always with me, we are a duo! Plus, she won't be able to help around tonight.

"What am I doing to do?" I fall back onto my bed and sigh. I close my eyes and breath deeply.

"Something wrong." A voice booms through my room, startling me.

I stand up as soon as I see Baekhyun standing in the room. I bow to him.

"No, not at all. Is there anything you need?" I ask in Korean.

"No. Just came up to see what you were up to." Baekhyun smiles and walks closer to me.

I shrug. "I was just folding laundry. I'm almost done actually. I'm going to go hang up the clothes." I nervously laugh and run over the to the basket full of clean clothing.

"Need any help?" His eyed following my every move.

I shake my head. "No, I'm fine. It's just hanging up clothes." I turn to him and smile. "But thanks for offering."

He smiles back and nods.

I caresses his cheek and nod back at him. "Now go down and hang out. I'll be down after I finish the laundry to make lunch."

"Haha, you sound like a very caring mother." Baekhyun teases. He pokes my nose.

I blush. "I'm just doing my job. I have to be mature in order to gain trust in adults. Now, go down."

He nods. He smiles at me before running back down.

I wipe my forehead. "Phew..."

Lay's POV

"Why were you upstairs?" I ask Baekhyun as he appears in the living room with a small smile on his face.

"I wanted to see if she needed any help. She was working really hard." He answers.

I trust Baekhyun. He's like a life long brother I care about a lot. I knew he felt the same way. He wouldn't try to steal Gracie away. How could he?

"Oh, how is she?" I ask.

"She's doing fine. She's going to cook lunch after she's done. That's all she told me. She really look tired." Baekhyun sits next to me.

I nod. "Maybe we should cook lunch ourselves. That way, she could eat and rest for a bit."

Everyone nods.

"What should we make?" Suho asks.

I shrug. "I don't know. I think she likes chicken."

"That's not much information." Kai says. "Just make chicken?"

"Let's call Julie." Tao's face brightens as he dials up the phone.

"Julie said that Gracie likes American food." Tao shares after he hangs up. He didn't look too happy though.

"Why are you frowning?" Sehun asks him while snickering. "You look hideous."

Tao clicks his tongue and pushes Sehun away.

"American food?" Kai searches for it on his phone.

"Pizza...Hamburgers...tacos..." D.O counts on his fingers.

"Tacos?" Chanyeol bursts out laughing.

"What?"

"Tacos are Mexican food, idiot. Hahaha." Chanyeol falls to the floor laughing.

D.O stands up and starts kicking Chanyeol while he's on the ground.

"Let's just order pizza." Sehun leans back on the couch and rests his hands behind his head.

"Does she like pizza? It's a bit oily, though..." I ask while scratching the back of my head.

"Why don't you go ask her?" Baekhyun pats my shoulder.

I get up. "Fine, but you guys better back me up once she starts to debate."

They all nod.

I walk up the stairs and into Gracie's room.

Not there.

I tilt my head and turn around to my room. I open the door and see Gracie asleep on my bed.
