Part 2
Wendy's POV
"Mark, listen to me and you better listen well." I point a stern finger at him and he jumps slightly.
"Wendy, are you ok?" His voice comes out like a scared little boy.
"Never mind me. You need to get that Gracie girl out of my way. You need to distract her somehow and make sure she's not ANYWHERE near me or Yixing. Can you do that?"
"Why? What's going on?"
I groan. "I already told you about what happened between me and Yixing. You know...the whole 'obsessive girlfriend' sort of thing?"
Mark crosses his arms. "Oh yeah..."
"Mark, honey, I just wanna make things right with Yixing, I don't want to get back together with him. Trust me, Mark." I plead.
He takes a deep breath and looks at me. "Ok fine, but only because I trust you. You're doing the right thing, being the bigger person. After what he did to you and cause you to do, you still wanna forgive him and move on. That's my sweetheart."
I smile and give him a kiss. "Thanks, honey."
Um, yeah, I sort of changed up the story a little when I told it to Mark. I didn't want him thinking I was crazy when we were first going out, so I told him that Lay was the one being clingy and then not so clingy. Like he'll want to spend so much time with me, then he acts like he doesn't know me. I also said that Lay got the SM card and auditioned, which did actually happen to REALLY I'm not lying. I may have said he didn't pass the audition and blamed it on me...but Mark seems to like Yixing and that's really irritating me.
Gracie's POV
"Looks like you found yourself a fan." I beam and pat Lay on his back.
He smiles. "I've never been so proud of myself. I feel like I actually am a good singer and dancer."
"Because you are, angel! You are the best ever!" I yell and hug him. He hugs back and kisses my head.
"I love you, Gracie. I don't know what I'll do without you."
"Awh, well you don't need to worry. We're married. I'll see you every single day." I peck his lips.
"Gracie, can I see you for a minute? I want to see the inside of your house." Mark interrupts us.
I turn to Lay and mouth, "will you be ok?"
He nods and lets me go.
"Sure. Wendy, would you like to join?" I ask.
Wendy thinks. "Um, no, later, I want to finish this salad first. Can't miss the smoothie too!"
I laugh in response. "Ok."
I lead Mark to the house and inside. I show him the small living room and kitchen.
"Wow, for such a small place, this is really cute!" He says while looking around in awe.
I nod. "Isn't it?"
"So, honeymoon?"
"Yes, we still got 2 weeks left in this wonderful place." I sit down on the couch.
Mark sits down by me. "Tell me how all of this happened."
I shrug. "Well, Lay and I were dating, then it got pretty serious. Our friends were quite annoying during the first weeks we were going out." I giggle, thinking about Julie and Tao. "Our first kiss was magical because it started off slow and gentle, then the passion and connection overcame our fears."
"Wow."
"Yeah. Then after awhile, he was given an opportunity to audition somewhere in South Korea. He didn't explain much to me, but the company was SM, he was paired up with one other Chinese guy, which was his friend, Kris. I was obviously devastated about this, but he always told me how much he wanted to become a singer and how much he dreamed of it. I didn't have the heart to tell him not to leave."
Mark nods. "That's good, that's good."
"So, he left for a few months only to get some training and a few concerts done, but it felt like years and years went by. He came back...and we went to the place where we had our first date. He had a ring and asked me to marry him. I said yes, of course. Then the wedding was the typical wedding. This is the honeymoon." I finish with a big deep breath and a pat on my knee.
"That's amazing. Do you guys plan on having kids?" He asks.
I widen my eyes. "Well, yes, I don't know if Lay ever given a lot of thought to it, neither have I. Now that it comes to mind, I really want to have a family. A girl and a boy, or maybe twins. No more than 4 kids, though."
He nods.
"What about you and Wendy? How did you propose?" I ask.
Mark starts chuckling and claps his hands together. "Well, this is a funny story. Every time I tell it, Wendy gets so embarrassed and it's so cute."
I smile. Mark seems very loyal to Wendy. Their relationship is cute. EVERYTHING'S CUTE!
I laugh with him. "Really? What is it?" I start the conversation in Korean.
"So we've been dating for a year, and it was winter, almost Christmas, when I asked. We had quite a lot of snow, so I decided to spell out the letters in the snow, 3D."
I gap. "That's so amazing. Oh, that's so cute!"
"Yeah, but here's the funny part. The letters weren't that stable or firm, so I had to be VERY CAREFUL around it. And-And it was dark out, it was at a park, the park where we first met." Mark starts giggling, so his words were a bit breathy. "I called Wendy down and she was so confused, she was like 'Mark? Where are you? Come on, I'm cold, I can barely see'. So, when I jumped out to hug her, she got scared and fell onto of the words 'YOU'. Oh my gosh, and she was so cold and really scared because of all the snow in her clothes."
I start laughing like crazy.
"The letters looked like 'WILL, MARRY ME'!" We both start dying of laughter together.
Best marriage story ever!
