Part 11
Gracie's POV
It's now the day we leave for America and I couldn't be more excited!
"Keep your phones on." Tao whispers to us as he hugs me and Lay.
We look at each other, but shrug it off.
"I'll see you tonight, girl." Julie hugs me.
I giggle. "You're going to land around 2am."
"You better be awake. I'll spam your phone." She laughs and smacks my back.

"That plane ride went by so quick." Lay rubs his eyes as we walk with our luggages.
"You slept the whole time, silly." I kiss his cheek.
As soon as we walk past the gates, screaming and cameras clicking fill our ears.
I immediately hide behind Lay when fans start coming closer. Thankfully the security guards hold them back.
Lay hooks our arms together so he wouldn't lose me as we walk through the crowd with like...5 body guards around us.
"Wow, Yixing, you're very famous here in New York." I compliment him as we reach the van.
"I guess I am." Lay smiles, showing off his dimple.
We arrive at our hotel with crowds already surrounding the entrance.
"So much for angels." I mumble, not loud enough for Lay to hear.
"AHHHHSNDKENFNSKENXOSMRBJDKSNROKAHHHHHHHOPPAAAA!" Fangirl scream their heads off when he exits the car.
Lay stands there and waits for me to get out.
"Um, I might just stay in here until the crowd goes away." I say.
Lay scoffs. "I'm not leaving you hear, princess."
"I will get eaten alive, Lay." I whine.
Lay shakes his head. "I won't let them hurt you."
He holds out his hand and I slowly take it. He pulls me out of the car and into his arms.
The crowds goes silent and all eyes were burning into my soul.
I wanted to fall into a hole.
"This is my wife!" Lay yells with his broken English.
Fans start mumbling amongst the crowd and soon turn their heads back to me.
I shyly wave and smile.
"SHE'S SO PRETTY! GOOD JOB, ZHANG YIXING!" A fanboy shouts and everyone starts cheering.
I blush and cover my face.
"See, they are angels." Lay smirks and kisses my nose.
We make our way through the crowd. Some fans wave to me and I wave back. They were nice to me and I was so thankful for that.
We get our room and we're now settling inside our big hotel room.
"I have to go to an interview in 5 minutes." Lay tells me while hugging me.
I pout. "You have to go already. I don't know what I should do..."
"I think I have an idea of what you should do...." Lay pulls my hand towards the window where all his fans were.
"SETTLE DOWN EVERYBODY!" Lay screams and the fans quiet down. "HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE A NICE TALK WITH MY WIFE WHILE I GO TO AN INTERVIEW?!"
The crows screams in response.
"Well, there you go." Lay smiles.
I open my mouth in shock. "You did not just do that....how could- what am I-"
"Calm down. You'll have body guards protecting you. It'll be fun. It'll be like you're a celebrity."
"But I'm not. I'm as shy as a rock." I argue back while stomping my feet.
Lay chuckles. "You can do this."
I sigh in defeat. "Fine. If I'm dead, it's all on you, Zhang Yixing."
"You're not going to die, Gracie."
"Oh yeah? Well I have seen sasaengs before and they're not pretty, let me tell you that." I cross my arms.
Lay pulls me in for a hug. "Trust me."
"Fine." I sigh, feeling comfort then I smell his soothing cologne.
"Ok," Lay kisses my lips. "I gotta go. Have fun. Good luck, princess."
Off he goes, out the door. I look out the window and see the crowd staring at me while waving.
I jump on my bed and hide under the covers in embarrassment. This is something I'm gonna have to get used to, since I'm married to a famous man.
"I hope I still remember my English skills."
The body guards lead me outside and there were some fans that cheered respectively and some that watched me like an owl.
I tried my best to smile at them, I probably looked fake though.
I was seated with a half tent behind me, giving me some shade. I was in front of a medium sized table with a pen and microphone.
"What am I suppose to do?" I whisper to one of the body guards.
They shrug and go back to looking tough.
I sigh in defeat and look at the crowds of people slowly making their way to me.
I pray to the Lord and stand up. I take the mic and clear my throat.
"Hello, Yixing fans! My name is Gracie. I'm-I'm his wi-wife." I speak into the mic, failing to hide my nervousness. My English was a bit scratchy.
The crowd seem to like me. They cheered and said a hi.
I continue. "Uh, I'm really new to this. I don't really know what to do. Um, Yixing is at an interview right now, so he left me here with you all."
"You should do a Q&A!" One fan yells and others argree.
"Yeah, sure. Sounds like fun."
They give me several questions and I answer them as cooly as I could. Most of them were marriage stuff, like how we met, how he proposed, how the wedding went. The crowd seemed to listen like they were my own children.
I grew more comfortable talking. Some fans even asked questions about Yixing's embarrassing moments and that really caused us to get closer with one another. I was happy.
I was now seated and fans were gathering around to talk to me personally. I even got some letters and been asked to sign stuff.
"I have to be going now, loves!" I say into the mic.
"Awwwhhhhh!" Fans says in response.
"Don't worry, I won't be gone for long. Yixing is about to get back soon, so I need to prepare dinner for him."
"MAKE HIM A GOOD DINNER, GRACIE!" A fangirl yells.
"You're right! I will!" I point to her and wink.
The body guards start dismissing the fans and cleaning everything up. I thank them and go back to my hotel room.
As soon as I enter the room, I was greeted by Lay.
"I came back early. I watched you from up here." He brings me into a hug. "You're so cute with my fans. You're like their mother. And I'm their father."
I smile and kiss his cheek. "They were very kind to me. I feel bad that I judged them in the beginning."
He kisses me back. "It's fine. I don't blame you."
"I want kids." I shoot him a playful smirk and laugh.
His kisses start traveling to my neck and I start getting nervous.
"U-Uh, hey Yixing," I sit up, causing him to.
"Yes?" He looks at me innocently.
"I have to cook dinner." I whisper.
He laughs. "Princess, you don't need to cook. We barely even have a kitchen. We can just order some dinner."
"The food here is expensive." I complain. "I could just-"
"Relax, we're not paying for it. My company is."
I sigh. "Fine. I'm going to take a shower."
"Mind if I join you?" Lay stands up.
I laugh, expecting him to laugh too. It's a joke, right?
I turn around and see him looking at me seriously. "You're not joking?"
"No." He walks closer to me. "You're my wife, we're allowed to do stuff like that."
I gulp. "Yixing, you know I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to that kind of stuff."
He nods. "Yes, but...if you try, you'll get used to it."
I look at him like he was a different person. "Yixing? Lay? What's going with you?"
"Nothing. Just hungry for love." He responds happily.
I smile. "Why don't you shower by yourself?"
He copies my smile. "It'll be a waste of water."
I smack his chest. "I won't take long then."
Lay pouts. "Fine, but sometime, some day, I'll surprise you."
I laugh, covering my little fear, and turn around.
He isn't serious, right?
