So being a huge his dark materials fan so I really want a dæmon. For those who don't know, a dæmon is your soul but an animal. They are opposite gender to you. They are basically the best! They settle as a certain animal once you hit puberty. If you haven't they can change shape depending on your emotion.
Now I was thinking what if instead of a pet you could have dæmon. This way Aeikyer doesn't have to make a whole new pet/life for you because it's your soul and kinda already have one.

There's some limits though
. You can't be more than a few meters away from your dæmon because it's your soul, you won't die but it might make you sad and your heart hurt
. They feel your pain you feel their's
. You can't touch other people's dæmons though that's just gross and stuff

Advantages
. You'll never be lonely
. You can train with them
. If your angry/sad and don't want to talk to anyone they can do it for you
