The car shuts off and I feel Ashley shake me awake . I open my eyes, still having the effect of last night attacking me , the light was killing them . Ashley started speaking " hey silly your home . Wake up ."

"I'm up " I reply wiping my eyes as she giggled .

" can you make your own way inside ?"

" I think so " as I step out of the car my legs seem to buckle from my slumber.

" poor baby , here let me help you inside. " She said as she picked me off the floor . I still wasn't sure of this girl . She said she was a childhood friend but still.

She manages to get me to the door and unlocks the door. The turn of the key in the lock slashed my brain bringing more pain to my head . My face tended up again as she opened the door into my home.

" come on just a little more you can make it " she helped me upstairs and into my room. As I hit the bed she smiled at me . " alright you rest up , I'll go make you some food "she threw the covers over me and left my room.

Eventually I dozed off again . A memory of my childhood started to play out in my dream. I was in the sandbox at my elementary school while my mother talked with the teacher for a reason I didn't understand. Then things took a dark turn . I was my age now and the sky darkened as the blanked face girl , still a child walked up to me. Her face was foggy but I could make out a smile in it .

The smell of breakfast woke me up from the strange dream. My head hurts slightly less so I got up to take a pain killer .

The light in the bathroom was almost blinding compared to the dark bedroom I was in. I opened the cabinet and grabbed out the pill bottle. Only 2 left . I washed both of them down my throat with sink water and went down the stairs to check what the girl , Ashley was doing and to throw away the empty pill bottle.

The smell was hard to resist even from the other room. I peaked in only to see what she was making but it beckoned me closer.

Ashley noticed me and said " your up already well foods almost ready so take a seat ". That smile was .... before I could finish that I was moving twords the dining table I hardly used .

Then when I thought I could lower my gard my phone rang from my back pocket. I recognized that ringtone. It was my friend , probably one of my only friends I still talked to since I moved away from my hometown.

I answered even though all reason told me not too. " hey you up " he half screamed . My face instantly because anoyed .

" now I am "

" Oh good . Dude I have to tell you what you did last night. I was half expecting you to be dead. "

" well your out of luck, Drefan."

" seems so but ,Dude I got you on video . You were crazy.  I'm surprised  that girl stoped in for you when you were picking a fight  with  the bouncer "

" I did what , and what "

" Ya you were picking a fight and some girl stoped you from getting a beat down. Speaking of her . You left quite fast after that . Did you do it "

" do what? "

Ashley  set some food in front of me and sat across from me . " I don't know . Hey look I got to go . "

" Oh no you don't.  You can't avoid  this . I'm coming  over " . I hung up the phone  with a sigh.

Ashley  started  to eat . The food smelled really good and looked good as well. If I wasn't sure from the smell I would have thought  that it was out of one of those food catalogs .

After we ate Ashley started talking " So that was your friend"

" You mean the phone  call . Thanks yes. " I realized as soon as I said that . He said he was coming  over and this girl was still in that big shirt ." Crap " I stood up too quickly  putting a puzzled look on her face and sending pain back into my head ,just as it calmed down .
