You were happy to admit that you were feeling a lot better.
Everything has been going well and as much as you hated admitting to Jimin about your past when you were at the Thai restaurant, you were glad you did it.
You were even more glad that you both decided to build up your relationship again. You're 100% positive that he's most of the reason that you're feeling better in yourself.
It's been almost a week since the carnival and it was a Friday night. You and Jimin haven't shared any other intimacies besides talking, texting and visits when he comes to your work.
And last Saturday you had the entertainment of watching Hongjoon be scared shitless for a date and then you got to actually watch the date happen. She seemed to be just as nervous as Hongjoon himself was.
You waited on their table and the minute she went to the bathroom, Hongjoon was over to you in an instant.
"I'm nervous" he whined and you nearly cooked at him.
"Ahhh young love, it's so adorable" you teased and he just rolled his eyes.
"Were you and Jimin like this?" He asked and you opened your mouth to reply but Jimin walked in.
"He can help me answer" you smiled at Jimin.
"Hello" he greeted sitting at the counter in front of you.
"Hey, what were we like when we first started dating?" You asked him and he was taken aback by the question but he answered nevertheless.
"Well, we were comfortable around each other but that's because we were friendly for a little while before we officially started dating" he explained while smiling at the memory.
"A little while? We literally knew each other less than a week before we started dating" you told him with a chuckle.
"Should've started dating sooner in my opinion" he shrugged and you blushed lightly.
"She's gonna come out of the bathroom soon you know" You told him and he sighed.
"I'm literally sweating profusely" he admitted and both you and Jimin had a facial expression that said you were grossed out. "Oh so you never got so nervous that you sweated on a date with her?" Hongjoon raised his eyebrow at Jimin.
"No, not really. I've always just felt comfortable around her, I mean she's y/n, I'm more comfortable with her than without her" he explained and you gazed at him with adoration in your eyes.
"So is it bad that I'm this nervous?" He asked. "Should I feel comfortable around her?"
"Joon this is your second day meeting her, it's completely normal. We just weren't nervous because in the short few days we knew each other before we got together we had spilled half our lives out to the other person" you explained. "You just get to know her and if you begin to feel more comfortable than all the better or maybe you need another few dates until you begin to feel that" you said and he nodded.
"Yeah, yeah. You're completely right, thank you" he said and you smiled. "Okay I'm going to sit down" he said as he rubbed his sweaty palms on his pants as he turned to leave.
"Joon?"
"Yeah?"
"Just remember she's nervous too. She's in the bathroom right now calling her friends saying the same worries to them as you just did to me" you told him and he nodded with a smile.
"Thanks y/n" he said. "And you have to take your vitamins he added as he sat down.
Jimin knows all about you going to the doctor and your little fainting scene. He remembered walking past the ambulance but he had no idea it was you and his mind boggled about it.
And because of that he knows about Hongjoon and his duties with you.
Only moments later as you were swapping the pills with a cup of water, the girl came out with a bit more confidence.
Must've had a good pep talk.
Jimin seemed to recognize her.
"What's her name?" Jimin asked himself after seeing her.
"Yejin" you answered.
"That's it! Yeah she does dance with me" he told you and you nodded.
"No practice today?" You asked him and he shook his head.
"We did, it was just earlier on today" he explained. "We are practicing for the national competitions and I'm shitting it" he rubbed his eyes.
"Knowing your skill you'll be amazing" you ensured him.
"Yeah" he trailed off unsurely. "Would you mind coming to it? I just think I'd be better with some moral support with me" he admitted.
"When is it?"
"Two days time" he said and you thought for a few moments.
"Sure, I don't think I'm doing anything" you told him as you picked up a rag and began to wipe down the counter.
"Good, I need my favorite supporter there" he nudged you and you smiled gleefully at his statement.

"Well are you happy with how it went?" You asked Hongjoon as you cleaned the last few bits and pieces before you closed.
The two boys were standing by the door, ready to leave.
"I think we both kind of relaxed a bit towards the end and I could kind of feel that sense of comfort the both of you were on about" he said referencing you and Jimin.
The three of you were now outside and you were locking the door to the diner.
"Do you want me to walk you home?" Hongjoon asked out of habit.
"Nah, I think me and Jimin are alright" you laughed and Hongjoon clicked his fingers.
"Ah yes, sorry" he shook his head.
"Don't worry about it" Jimin said with a slight chuckle.
You then bid goodbye to Hongjoon and you and Jimin made your way home. You talked about random topics throughout the walk and then as you both passed a bench Jimin sat down.
You turned to see him sitting there after you realized he wasn't walking with you anymore.
"It was here that I was sitting when I overheard that you stayed at your old house over Christmas" he admitted and you sighed. "Why didn't you go back to our apartment" you bit your lip when you heard the word our being said during the sentence.
"I have happy memories there Jimin" you began as you sat down beside him, knowing this could be a very long conversation.
You looked straight ahead, avoiding his gaze.
"I've only ever lived there with you and even when I wasn't there with you it's because someone had forced us apart and there was nothing we could do about it" you said reminiscing the memories in your mind.
"But I couldn't physically bring myself to go back to that place knowing that the reason I wasn't with you this time was because I broke it off. I couldn't stay there and see all those memories replay in my head. So I went to a place that has nothing but bad memories so I thought that piling even more bad memories would be a lot better than staying at our apartment" you explained to him, emptying out your thoughts in front of him for him to observe for himself.
"What the hell has happened to us?" Jimin admitted. "We really got turned upside down for awhile" he could only blink as he thought about it.
"We were in a bad place" you said and you leaned your head on his shoulder immediately missing the comfort that it brought to you.
He turned his head to kiss the top of your forehead and he stroked your hair while he was doing so.
"We are really close best friends" you joked about how intimate you two seemed to others.
"But this is just how we naturally are. We are always like this with one another, it's just like we are how we normally are it's just less of the mouth-to-mouth aspects" he shrugged and you laughed and gave him a hug.
"You're so fantastically amusing to me" you admitted to him as you snuggled into his neck and he kept the hug tight.
"See, we're doing it again" he pointed it out to you and you started laughing again.
"We suck at this friend thing" you sniggered to him and he nuzzled his nose against your ear and whispered.
"Is it bad that I think that's a good thing" he said as you giggled from his breath that was ticking your skin.
"No..." you trailed off quietly.
You swept some loose hairs from around his eyes away.
"Just a tiny bit longer" you said with a smile. "I'm getting there" you breathed.
"Course you are, my muffin is super strong she can get through anything" he began hyping you up.
"Oh please" you hated away from his complements. "How was your mother when you met her at Christmas?" You asked.
"She was heartbroken that she didn't get to see her precious darling" he said with a hint of jealousy.
"I'm her precious darling?"
"Oh yeah, you're the daughter she never had" he rolled his eyes and you burst out laughing.
Jimin couldn't keep his gaze off of you as you laughed profusely. He missed hearing that sound.
It was like music to his ears.
Once you calmed down you turned to face Jimin.
"I can't wait to see your competition you know. I haven't seen you dance in a while, I miss it if I'm being honest" you said to him and he blushed lightly.
"I'm excited for you to see me. I always dance a lot better knowing that you're there. Your like a support machine for me" he said honestly and you nearly began to coo at him.
Well that was until his eyes caught sight of the young adults a near distance away who just left their dorm building to have a smoke.
Jimin found it hard to tear his vision away from the little rolls of ecstasy that those people were enjoying.
Jimin began fidgeting a lot just because everyone was longing for a cigarette.
"Do you want me to get you a lollipop? They say that helps beat the cravings" you told him after seeing his change in expression.
"No, they don't work I've already tried them. I need something stronger and more distracting and-"
You began to let your fingers crawl up his arm.
"What are you doing?"
Once your fingers reached his upper arm you began to tickle him and he first started off with a few chuckles but after a few moments he was laughing loudly.
"Does that work better than lollipops?" You asked and he nodded immediately.
"Actually it was more like torture" he deadpanned and you giggled.
"You've always been so dramatic" you said and he shrugged his shoulders and smiled.
"But you wouldn't have me any other way" he said with a hint of arrogance.
"Well I would change your attitude for sure" you chuckled and then begs to stand up. "I want to go to bed" you whined and he nodded.
"Fine, I'll get you up to your dorm" he complied and as you were walking up the stairs Jimin's phone rang.
He pulled it out of his pocket to see Amies name written on the screen.
"She won't stop calling me" he said with annoyance in his tone.
"She likes you Jimin" you told him. "I mean I'm not saying go after her, because I'm not sure if you've noticed but I actually like you a lot more than everyone else I've ever met," you joked. "But just let her down easy" you explained to him and he nodded.
"Alright" he sighed. "So you like me more than every else?" He quirked his eyebrow.
"Your cockiness is becoming unbearable" you sighed.
"Just how you like it" he winked.
"Wait....what? That makes no sense" you said and stopped walking as Jimin continued to walk.
"Yep!" He yelled and you just laughed at his stupidity.
