I have a music practical tomorrow and I'm literally crying rn and I need a hug but I don't want anyone to know I'm crying.

I literally get so scared with stuff like this and I begin to get like mini panic attacks and I just dk what to do.

"Y/n how do you do this? I forget which plate goes to which person" Hongjoon panics and you laugh and take the tray of food from his hands.

"Allow me" you walked towards the meeting table. "Who ordered two cheeseburgers with no pickle and two fantas?" You announce and all the heads turn towards you before a hand pops up and you smile and walk towards the boy who gives the second drink and burger to the girl beside him.

"Damn you know your way around" Hongjoon laughed.

"Five years of experience Joon" you explained with a stressed expression.

In the back of your mind all you could think about was "Jimin is there, Jimin can hear what you say, he can see you do something wrong"

You returned back to the counter with a whirring brain, constantly sending messages around your brain.

"You alright?" Sowon asked, Chaerin, Hongjoon and Jungkook listening in as she said it.

"Yeah, yeah. Just not used to it" you say meekly, referencing the fact that you're not used to Jimin and you being in the same room, before Amie stood up.

"Alright everyone, let the meeting begin!" She spoke as you made your way to the table to place down a few coffees and drinks.

"So first things first, I'd like to thank everyone for coming and I'd like to remind you that you're doing a wonderful thing" Amie began her introduction. "I want all of us to be good friends as we are forming a volunteering family! So let's go one by one around all of us and say our name and one thing about yourself" she explained and you sighed, not knowing what to say about yourself.

"I'll go first, my name is Amie and I love long walks on the beach" she giggled flirtatiously and you had to hold back the sick at the back of your throat.

"Oh please, does she expect people to think that, that laugh is real? Seriously?" You rolled your eyes and Sowon looked at Jungkook.

You walked into the kitchen for a few moments to talk to Yugyeom and Sowon turned to Jungkook.

"I'm going to say this now before y/n comes back. As you can clearly see she's annoyed but mostly nervous off her head. This is going to lead her to say dumb things that she may or may not mean and so help me god if this gets back to your best friend about what is said over here, I will deal with you myself. Understood?" she said and Jungkook could've sworn she didn't blink the entire time she spoke.

"Understood" he said with a monotone voice and Sowon went to turn back in her seat. "But you need to understand that Jimin isn't a bad guy" he began and Sowon scoffed. "I'm serious Sowon. He's at a bad place in his life and y/n was his support system and he doesn't have her anymore. He's going through shit too, so if I hear you say one bad thing towards Jimin while y/n can hear, you're going to be fighting with fire. Understood?" He asked and she nodded.

"Understood" she smiled. "You're a good friend to stick up for him" she admitted. "But that doesn't mean that I forgive him" she added.

"That's okay, I get why. But he is a good person and I know deep down that you know that just as well as me" he spoke before you came out of the kitchen.

About ten people have stood up and introduced themselves as well as saying something about themselves.

Amie caught sight of you coming out of the kitchen just as someone finished speaking and decided to ask you to speak next so that you could continue your work.

"Y/n would you mind going next?" She asked and you stood still, you were hoping to avoid your introduction.

You sighed and looked at Jimin for a split second (more like a nanosecond) to see him smiling gently at you.

"O-oh, ah I'm y/n and-" you thought momentarily. "-I'm a waitress" you said.

"Oh come on! There has to me more to your life than being a waitress!" Amie said.

She wanted everyone to like you as you helped her sort out the location, but if she knew about your past with Jimin she mightn't be as nice to you.

"No my life is pretty pathetic" you said and looked towards Sowon to swoop in and luckily she got what you were hinting at.

Jimin frowned at your words.

"I'm Sowon" she said before Amie could ask a follow up question for you. "And I like photography a lot" she said awkwardly and Chaerin went to speak next.

And one by one everyone introduced themselves until it came back around to Amie and the only person left was Jimin who Amie has been waiting to hear from this entire time.

"And last but, most certainly not least" Amie chuckled and gestured towards Jimin. You were slouching onto the counter this entire time but when it came to Jimin you straightened your back and stood properly.

Jimin cleated his throat. "My name is Jimin and my favourite thing in this entire world is my muffin" he spoke, his eyes focused on you and no one else.

You're cheeks blushed heavily and you looked down.

Everyone was confused (bar the few who knew the pet name between you and Jimin) and wondered what his muffin was. They knew he was rich because everyone knew who he was, so that led them to believe that he had his own muffin brand.

"Alright then! Let's start planning!" Amie spoke and then she started saying where the location for the carnival would be and what stalls would be there.

There would be the generic stalls like the Ferris wheel (it would be a relatively small one), a ring toss, a funky mirror stall, dunk a person and so on. Amie just continued to call out a number of different stalls.

She then handed everyone out a map of where each stall with each activity would be. Then she asked which one everyone would want and Sowon (on behalf of you and Chaerin) chose the sweets/candy stall so that she could nibble at food all day but you and Chaerin didn't mind.

Jimin then searched for the nearest booth to yours and put his hand up for it.

"Great Jimin and Jungkook will be doing the high striker stall!"

The high striker stall was basically where you hit a certain area and a weight lifts based on your strength and if you can get the weight to the top where it will hit a bell, you win.

All the girls at the table seemed quite excited to see that as both Jimin and Jungkook had to run the stall shirtless.

Well that's what Amie said anyways.

Once all the stall spaces were filled up, Amie ended the meeting and a lot of people left to go home and a few stuck around.

"Thank you so much y/n for allowing the meeting to be held here!" Amie smiled.

"Oh it was no problem really" You smile awkwardly.

"Well I will text you all once I arrange our second meeting!" She smiled before leaving the conversation and making her way over to where Jimin was sitting.

"And as for you Jimin, I actually don't have your number" she giggled and Jimin looked hesitantly at her. "To text you about the meetings that is" she added after seeing his insure facial expression.

"Oh, right" he nodded and said it out to her and she added the number to her contacts.

She then said her goodbyes and winked towards him before leaving and he sat alone uncomfortably.

You, however, were working away diligently, trying to push the matter of Jimin being in the same room as you as far away from your thought process as possible.

You began to put the tables back into their place after you arranged them in their current position for the meeting. Hongjoon assisted you in doing so.

You were stressed, that's for sure. You were scrubbing the tables clean with a vigorous motion when Hongjoon stopped you.

"You need to calm down you know you shouldn't be getting stressed" he eyed you and you stopped and looked at him.

"Do your breathing exercises" he said and you whined.

"Not now Hongjoon!" You frowned.

"Yes now y/n. Now come on in for six, out for ten" he advised and you rolled your eyes and did it.

"Thank you care giver!" You whispered sarcastically so that any people nearby couldn't hear it.

"I don't see you breathing!" He eyed you.

"Well of course I'm breathing dumbass! I don't stop breathing"

"You know what I mean" he rolled his eyes and you couldn't help but laugh at him.

Jimin watched you both as he sat idly, wondering why Hongjoon was acting like a guidance counselor towards you.

Jungkook got Sowon's attention and asked a question. "Is there something between y/n and Hongjoon?" He asked and Sowon laughed.

"God no, they're really close though. He's helping her through this rough patch but they have both discussed the fact that friends is as far as it will go" she explained and Jungkook was relieved to hear it.

"Can I stop now?" You asked.

"Are you calm?"

"As calm as I'll ever be in a situation like this" he nodded.

"That's understandable, now it's time to eat" he said and went to Yugyeom to ask him to cook something for you.

You sat on a chair by yourself as you waited for Hongjoon to return and Jimin sat a near distance away sitting alone also.

It was almost like there was awkward silence hanging in the air even though you both weren't sitting with each other.

You both glanced at each other and made eye contact and as much as you tried to pull away your stare, you couldn't.

You missed him.

Like you really missed him.

He was your everything. He was the reason that you are where you are today. He got you back up on your feet when you were at a time of being in debt and he took you away from your problems by putting you into your very own apartment.

You'll never be able to thank him enough. Never. Ever.

But he just as equally missed you.

And now here you both were staring at each other, having the need to just rush over to one another and embrace each other.

But alas, Hongjoon came back from the kitchen with some food and a cup of water. He then went and got you some vitamins that the doctor recommended for you.

"Take-"

"Two, yes I know Joon" you sighed.

"Hey, I still have to say it incase you're really tired one day and you take three by accident" he explained and you nodded.

You looked over towards Jimin and found him staring questionably at Hongjoon and his actions towards you.

Jimin's P.O.V.

Breathing exercises, vitamins?

I'm so confused.

I know I have no right to go over and ask him. I would, but I don't want y/n to be mad. She's already pissed off at me.

I watch as y/n takes the vitamins until Jungkook comes over and asks if I'm ready to go.

I looked up and smiled gently.

"Yeah I'm ready, let's go" I get up out of my seat and exit the building and as I'm doing so, I turn back to see the love of my life staring back at me. I gave her a gentle smile before leaving.

The minute I'm outside I feel like I can actually breath again.

"Is there something between y/n and Hongjoon?" I asked almost immediately, fearing that if I wait any longer I will combust.

"No, I asked Sowon that same question. She said that he's just helping her deal with this whole situation because he's training to be a nurse or something, but they themselves have agreed that they could only be friends. They couldn't see themselves as anymore than that" Jungkook so kindly explained.

Well, if I have ever sighed in relief before, it was nothing compared to the one I just let out there.

I smiled to myself after hearing it.

"She's still head over heals for you, you know. Couldn't you see how nervous she got? Oh and I'm guessing you saw her face when you said that muffin thingy because she was blushing and smiling so hard" Jungkook explained excitedly.

And I felt myself get all tingly at the thought of y/n in my head and all the situations that happened over the past few hours.

"Anything else happen?" Jungkook asked.

"Well" I began. "We did stare at each other for about two minutes straight" I admitted and Jungkook looked at me confused.

"Oh how romantic" he spoke sarcastically.

But it was romantic in its own right. The fact that I couldn't take my eyes off of her and the same with her to me.

Gosh I need to stop now or the butterflies in my stomach will eat me alive.

Normal P.O.V.

HE FUCKING SMILED AT ME, HE SMILLLLEDDDD AT MEEEEE, OMG HIS SMILE IS SO PRETTY, these were the thoughts going through your head once Jimin left.

You couldn't help but smile at your thoughts.

That was until you got a text which read:

From: Amie

Thank you to everyone who came to the meeting tonight!! Next meeting will be on Friday (day before the carnival) to arrange minor details. Same time, same place! Bye xxxx

Once everyone in the diner had read the message (AKA You, Sowon, Chaerin and Hongjoon (who decided to join the volunteers)) they, including you, all groaned abnormally loud at the thought of everyone meeting up again and you couldn't help but laugh.

And also feel that little bit of excitement about seeing Jimin in two days.
