10 ~ Silent Treatment
When you get that one comment on your story that makes you smile and you just want to hug whoever sent it even though you have no clue who they are - that be me right now.

"W-where is he? Is he okay? He'll be alright, r-right? Do I need to bring him something?" You asked once you reach Jungkook.
You were worried, fumbling over your words as you spoke.
Jungkook just pulled you by the top of your arms into a tight hug. He cradled your head and told you to calm down.
You felt guilt.
So much guilt.
While you were in your dorm weeping over your boyfriend not showing up to your very important event that you had planned for months. When really, he was in hospital for god knows what.
He could've been provoked or attacked!
You ran to the hospital so damn fast, you ran as of you could run off the guilt.
"I'll explain everything" Jungkook said hoarsely.
His throat was tired from talking to doctors and also it was late at night, he was so, so tired.
You sat down in the waiting room, you were still panting from running.
"Did you run here?" Jungkook asked bewildered and you nodded.
"Yeah" you said breathlessly. "Now tell me what the hell he's doing here"
Jungkook shifted uncomfortably in his seat, knowing that you'd be mad by the time he finished talking.
"Now I'm not sure of the entire story. But Jimin got pissed off yesterday for some reason that's unknown to me and he and his friends went out- " he said gulping before he continued. "-to a strip club and he hurt his hand somehow. I'm not sure how or when he did that. But yeah he got really drunk at the bartender brought him outside and he fell when he was outside and he bruised and cut his face and the man called me because he scrolled through his contacts and it just happened to have landed on me" Jungkook explained and you were completely taken aback.
"Ah- Why" you paused. "Why did he go to a strip club?" You asked.
Jungkook separated his lips, not knowing what to say.
"I don't know y/n" he whispered. "He was really upset earlier on, maybe that's the reason? Maybe he wanted some sort of release?" You almost jumped out of the chair when those words slipped from his mouth.
"Release!? What do you mean? Do you think he-"
"No! He wouldn't do that! He loves you" he said trying to calm you down.
"Doesn't feel like it anymore" you murmured.
"Don't be like that y/n" Jungkook said in the same tone as you.
"Well how else am I supposed to be?" You exclaimed, tears threatening to fall. "I don't know what the hell is going on because he tells me nothing! I don't know what he could be doing when I'm not around" you spoke, your voice growing quieter towards the end and you sat down on your seat again.
"I think you just need to talk to him"
"But I've tried Jungkook! I ask him is he okay all the time and he dodges everything" you put your head in your hands, sobbing to yourself.
"So pin him down. Don't let him change the subject" he advised and you nodded. "I actually have to go now y/n. I have a plane to catch in six hours and I haven't packed yet" he explained and you nodded.
"Thank you Jungkook" you whispered and he pulled you into a hug.
"Don't worry about it. I'll call you later" he assured and you smiled he placed a friendly kiss to your cheek and left.
You looked around, noting that you were alone now for the rest of the night.
A doctor walked past the waiting area and cocked an eyebrow.
"There was a young fellow here not long ago, do you perhaps know where he is. He was medium to tall height with raven dark hair" he said.
"Oh he just left he has a plane to catch, I'm here for Park Jimin now" you inform and he nodded.
"I see, will you be waiting here until he wakes up?"
You nodded.
"Well it isn't fair to leave you here all on your own, you never know what strangers would wander in" he chuckled. "There is a couch in Jimin's room, I'd suggest that you wait there" he offered.
"No I think I'm alright-"
"I won't take no as an answer, for my own peace of mind to know that you're okay. Now, please follow me" he smiled and walked down the hallway and you jumped up and walked after him.
"I'm not sure if the man from before explained, but we can't do any tests on Jimin as we can't touch him without his consent which I'm sure you can understand. So we are just waiting until he wakes and when he does would you press the orange button on the side of his bed? It just alerts the nurses" he informed and you nodded in understanding.
After a few turns and such, he stoped in front of a door and opened it to reveal Jimin soundly sleeping on the bed.
"There he is" he said and then gestured to the couch in the room. "I'm sure that will be a lot more comfortable" he smiled.
You said a polite 'thank you' and he left and closed the door, leaving you alone with a sleeping Jimin.
The minute you heard the click of the door close you let your emotions get the best of you and you began to cry.
You hesitantly walked over to the bed, constantly wondering the same thing over and over on how you could've of been better and what did you do wrong.
Should you have gone out all the time to parties? Would that have made him happy and he could open up to you more?
Your mind began to boggle.
You gently caressed his bruised cheek, seeing the dried blood attached to his skin.
"What the hell were you doing?" You whispered, kissing his forehead.
You moved away from him and sat down on the bed, you began feeling the strain on your back again as you were sitting in the waiting area and you were hoping the couch would fix it, but you doubted it would work.
You laid down, your neck in an uncomfortable position and your legs curled up. You didn't finish crying, you took out a few tissues and wiped you tears with them.
You shivered slightly, but still closed your eyes trying to drift off into a dreamland.
A dreamland that was much brighter and happier than the dull, sad reality you were living in currently.

Jimin woke up in pain.
He groaned, feeling as if his hand was actually falling off his wrist. He had the worst headache he's ever gotten and the side of his face hurt and stinged a little.
He opened his eyes and immediately winced at the light in the room from the window.
He sat up hesitantly, cradling his hand and he spotted a figure on the couch.
He knew by the hair that it was you.
You took off your jacket last night as a blanket as you were cold and you managed to cover your face.
Jimin's initial reaction wasn't to panic because you were here and you would be mad, it was to take his hospital blanket off him and place it on you.
He began to get off the bed and take the blanket with him. He brought it over and placed it on top of you and as he did so he noticed some tissues.
Was she crying?, he thought.
Or does she have a cold?, his mind tried to suss it out but the headache prevented him from doing so.
He put the blanket on top of you and you woke up from the contact.
You opened your eyes firstly only seeing a blurry image.
"Muffin go back to sleep" a voice soothed.
The minute that your mind registered it was Jimin you sat up, wincing from the pain in your back and now also your neck from the position you slept in.
"Are you okay?" Jimin asked seeing your pained expression, but you didn't answer.
You just proceeded to sit up and take the white cotton blanket off you. You took your coat and put it on properly.
You then stood up and walked over to the bed, walking past Jimin in the process.
He put his hands out and blocked him before you could pass.
"Y/n talk to me" you didn't make eye contact with him nor give him a reply.
Was it childish for the silent treatment? Most likely, but you didn't want to talk to him, knowing you would only become upset the minute you did so.
If you were being completely honest, you were scared to open your mouth knowing that you would just screamed if you did so.
You tried to get around him again and, no surprise, he stopped you.
"Look I know I did something horrible-"
You scoffed straight away and forcefully walked around him.
You pressed the orange button that the doctor from a few hours ago told you to press when he woke up.
"What does that do?" He asked timidly.
You just walked around him again and went back to the couch again. You moved your head in circular motions hoping to relax the aching muscles in your neck.
Jimin knew he fucked up.
But he didn't know the extent of what you knew.
He sat on the bed, opposite from the couch, and just observed how upset you were.
But what hurt him even more was how much you were trying to hide it.
You held a straight face, when he knew all you wanted to was burst out in tears.
He always thought that your shared relationship was somewhere where you could show your emotions any time you wanted. That you never felt the urge to hold it back or never felt that you had to conceal your feelings.
That has changed now and Jimin felt like the guilty one.
A nurse walked into the room.
"Ah Mr.Park, you're awake" she smiled.
He simply nodded.
"Well now that you're awake I'll alert the doctors and tell them to come and do their examinations" she explained and left.
And you were left alone once again.
The both of you hated the silence.
You stood up and headed for the door, hoping to get a breakfast in the mediocre cafeteria.
Jimin watched you leave, deciding to not question you.
A few minutes after you left, Jimin felt his nerves acting up again he hesitantly walked over to his coat and took out a cigarette from his chest pocket he took the lighter with it and walked over to the window, as usual, and opened it before lighting a cigarette up and blowing the smoke out the window.
Completely unaware of someone entering the door, Jimin sat in a sort of ecstasy state, forgetting all about his worries.
"Mr. Park you can't smoke in here" the doctor warned.
He wasn't mad, he understood that an addiction is an addiction wether it's good or bad, you can't hold back.
He was just simply following hospital regulations.
Jimin jumped a little and put out the cigarette.
"Sorry" he mumbled.
"Now, should we begin?" He asked and Jimin nodded, walking over to the bed.
"That lady from before must care about you a lot, she was crying for a long while" he mentioned as Jimin crawled onto the bed, the pang of guilt nearly knocking him off the bed.
"Oh yeah, I'm luckier than I deserve to be"
"You should probably do something really nice for her, she's quite shaken up but she's still here waiting for you" he advised. "Any who, I'm not your life counselor"
And so Jimin sat in the bed as the doctor did some tests on him, sighing as he recorded everything on his clipboard.
"So you want to tell me what happened?"
Jimin sighed and rubbed his eyes, lost in a pool of guilt, pain, confusion and shame.
"The story with my hand was when I went into a fury stayed and punched a lamppost and yes I know it was dumb" He clarified. "And then I got really drunk and went to a club I shouldn't have gone to and got even more drunk. Someone who worked there then dragged me out and I fell to the floor, hence why my face is like this" he said, gesturing to his purple and blue cheek.
The doctor nodded.
"You probably think I'm an idiot" Jimin spoke softly.
"You're not dumb for that, everyone has down times in their lives" he spoke, jotting down some notes on the sheets attached to his clipboard.
Jimin smiled slightly.
"But you are dumb for treating her like you did" he said. "I don't know what happened, but from what I could see, you really messed up"
Jimin felt his tears crawl up to his eyes.
He was becoming more and more emotional.
"I know" he whispered. "And now I don't know how to fix it.
