I'm sorry but since when do I get 50 reads on a chapter in a week?, me when I wrote the first book is QUAKING.

I used to get like 15 in a week.

I feel accomplished😌✊

///

You laid awake in Jimin's bed as he slept soundly beside you.

You were laying on your side, looking out over his room. Your focus was more on the wooden desk chair that had his jacket hung on the back of it.

You nibbled at your lip as you stared at the clothing in complete confusion and despair.

"Muffin?" Jimin called out groggily.

You tore your focus away from the jacket that may or may not hold the packet you wish you had never seen.

You turned over to face Jimin and you found him squinting back at you, clearly indicating that he had just woken up.

"Morning" he breathed out and smiled.

"Good morning" you replied.

"What's wrong?"

"What do you mean?" You asked as he pulled you closer to him.

"Your breathing started grow quicker, you usually do that when you're worried" he said placing a long kiss against your forehead.

"Oh no, nothings wrong. I was just in deep thought" you said.

He looked at you skeptically before leaning in to you with his lips puckered, waiting for your lips to meet his.

This is one thing Jimin loves.

Morning kisses.

He knew something was wrong if you wouldn't even give him one of his morning kisses.

He doesn't get them too much anymore due to the fact that when Jimin gets up to go to lectures, you're still asleep.

So it's really only on weekends.

Which makes them that bit more special to him.

It's adorable really.

You leaned in until your nose were brushing against one another.

"I'm sorry about last night" you whispered.

"Me too" he spoke gently, slowly connecting his lips with yours. They moved in sync.

You couldn't help but let last nights events take over your thought process.

You've never insulted one another like that ever.

"We're just going through a rough patch" Jimin spoke softly, his raspy voice evidently there.

"Why though?" You ask and Jimin sighed.

He sat up against the headboard the bed and gestured for you to come and sit on his lap.

You straddled his lap and immediately shivered at the loss of warmth on your back.

He pulled the blanket up to cover your goosebump-filled skin.

"I think we just have so much going on in our lives and the fact that we don't see each other that often doesn't help" he spoke, gripping your waist gently. "And we are both swamped with school and you have work and I have my dance group"

"Are your friends from yesterday actually being good friends?" You quirked an eyebrow.

"Yeah, they're the ones who are helping me de-stress" he said with his own twinge of guilt hidden behind his voice.

You nodded slightly.

Why the hell wont he just tell me, You whined internally.

"You're not keeping anything from me, right?" You ask, hopeful that he will come clean.

He glanced away for a mere second. "No, of course not" he smiled and yours faltered. "You know I wouldn't hide anything from you, right?" He asked wearily.

You squeezed his shoulders gently out of the sudden disappointment.

"Right, yeah" you smiled weakly.

You climbed off his lap and moved to the edge of the bed. Jimin eyes you skeptically.

He moved closer so that he was facing your back and he left sweet kisses along your shoulder.

"You're not keeping anything from me, are you?" He whispered.

And you scoffed slightly.

"No, I never would lie to you. I tell you everything" you rub your eyes, hoping to shake off the sleepiness.

You were getting frustrated.

"Muffin-"

"I need to go to class" you say, standing up from the bed and walking over you your bag.

Well, really you were trying to get away from Jimin before you say something stupid.

"Muffin, it's Saturday. You don't have any classes" he bits his lip nervously.

You sigh and your eyes closed you began shaking your head.

"I meant I have to go to the shop and get tea bags" you said. You changed your clothes, grabbed your bag and left.

Jimin thought he should give you some time alone and that's why he didn't stop you.

He knows that this is how you deal with worries.

You walk away from the problem for awhile and come back with a fresh mindset.

To say Jimin was confused would be an understatement.

He didn't understand why you were acting like this.

He got up a few minutes later and went toward his jacket, retrieving a familiar white box with a red stripe around it.

This was something he refused to tell you about. The dancers he met said to "light up one of these bad boys" whenever he felt stressed.

So now he smokes.

And he's ashamed, he really is and he can't bring himself to tell you.

Jimin knows it'll break your heart.

He knows that you're completely against smoking cigarettes for some unknown reason.

I mean sure everyone knows they're not good for you, but you didn't like them them to a further extent.

He walked to a nearby window in his dorm and opened it.

He breathed in the fresh, crisp, autumn air before getting a chair and putting it in front of the, now open, window.

He sat on the chair, facing out towards the view. He took the white and red box and took out one of the items inside.

He took his purple lighter and lit up one of the cigarettes and placed it at his lips.

With one breath in, he can already feel himself calming down, taking his mind off of the conversation he just had with you.

He made sure to really lean out the window when he smokes so that the smell of cigarettes won't come into the room.

He rubbed his hand against his forehead in thought.

He was having a mental debate with himself.

Tell you.

Try to stop before you find out somehow.

Keep smoking, keep it secret.

Jimin is not stupid, he knows which option is the best.

But he doesn't seem to be leaning toward that answer.

He began biting his lip in thought.

He felt his nerves begin to tighten and he reattached the cigarette to his lips and sucked in, releasing the dark cloud of smoke from his mouth and his nerves began to calm.

He sat back against the back of the chair and groaned loudly.

"What the fuck do I do" he whispered, contrasting from the loud groan he made a few seconds prior.

///

You grabbed the box of tea bags and continued to make your way to the counter.

"Hey roomie!" The person at the counter spoke.

You looked straight ahead to see your roommate.

Lets introduce her:

Her name is Sowon, and she is exceptionally pretty. She works at the local convenience store and she studies business in university.

She is extremely polite and kind, but unfortunately you don't see her as often as you would like due to you both being very busy people.

It turns out that she is actually a friend of your friend, Alex, which was nice to hear.

"Hey" you have a small smile.

"How are you?" She said scanning the box.

"I'm good and you?" You ask.

"I'm great!" She chirped. "We should have a girls day soon!" She suggested and you nodded and smiled. "We never see each other"

"Yeah, for sure" you say quietly.

"Well I'll see you at home" she said, seeing another customer arrive at the counter.

"Bye" you said, leaving the building and making your way to the exit.

You didn't even need tea, but after making that excuse you thought you might as well bring some home.

You walked all the way back to your dorm building holding a box of tea bags in your hand.

Your thoughts wondered as you walked, thinking about all the things you're going through now.

Work

University

Assignments

Your speech presentation in three days

Jimin and all the thoughts surrounding him

You couldn't help but think that you need an escape, you need to get away from all this for awhile.

If you could, you would go home and visit Mrs and Mr Lee, not to mention meet up with Alex and talk about all the shit that's going on.

That would be talking in a realistic state of mind, when in all honestly you just want to go some place where the sun is splitting stones hot and you could run through a field of sunflowers or lavender.

But unfortunately, your broke so somewhere like the middle of summer in the south of France doesn't seem like it's likely to happen.

You breath out, waking up from your day dream and scan your surroundings.

You see a guy across the street in a black cap, wearing a tracksuit. He looks up slightly and you make him out to be someone you know.

Jackson Wang.

You weren't expecting to see him here, you knew he went to the same university as you, but it's already been a few months and you hadn't crossed paths.

You find yourself crossing the street to him.

You haven't exactly been talking to Jackson since the school dance you both attended where he just so happened to pour his feelings out for you.

You've missed being friends with him.

Who wouldn't?

He's a great guy, who has been nothing but kind and sweet to you. You shouldn't let go of a friend like that.

He hadn't seen you yet and you're already hyping yourself up.

"Hey, Jackson" You greet and he looks up from his feet.

His eyes widen, and he finds his words are caught in his throat.

"Oh, eh-y/n" he scratches the back of his neck as he spoke. "How are- ehm - eh, what are you doing here?" He asks awkwardly.

"I went to the shop to get tea and I just saw you and I haven't seen you in so long, so when I saw you I just had to come over here" you explain, gesturing the box so he could see you got the tea.

"Oh, yeah. That's nice" he smiled awkwardly. "I actually have to go, but it was great seeing you" he said politely leaving.

You slump in disappointment.

You lean your head back and see the dull sky above you.

"Well, that's that then" you sigh.

You couldn't force him to be friends with you. Especially when he's not comfortable around you, that's not fair on him.

Walking home, you saw your dorm building come into view much earlier than you would've liked.

But still, you kept walking.

///

Jimin was beginning to worry.

You hadn't come back in a little while.

Or maybe you just went to your own dorm room.

He walked out to the front lounge where the entrance to the building was. He sat in one of the lobby chairs and checked his phone.

After about ten minutes or so, the noise of an accepted key card brought Jimin's attention back.

You had to use a key card to get in an out of the building, as well as the rooms.

Because no one wants any random creep walking into the building where they live.

People have been passing in and out throughout the time that Jimin was sitting there.

But of course, he had some sort of feeling when it came to this one.

He looked up and unsurprisingly, it was you.

You pushed the door open, pushing an annoying strand of hair behind your ear as you walked.

"Hey" he exclaimed, catching your attention.

You turned your head seeing Jimin running toward you.

"Where have you been?" He asked.

You held up your box and he nodded.

"Oh, I just thought you took awhile" he smiled gently.

"Yeah, sorry I just lost track of time" you said.

"Wanna go to the game room?" He asked and you smiled gently.

"Sure" you replied.

You told him that you'd need him there, as you had to put the tea, your coat and your bag upstairs.

Once you planted all that on your bed, you quickly made your way to the game room.

Once you arrived you opened the door to see a few people already making use of the games.

You spot Jimin sitting on a nearby couch, looking out of a nearby window .

Once you get closer you see what he seems so focused on through the glass.

It was a group.

Three girls, two guys.

Three of them are smoking.

You notice Jimin's leg hopping up and down from the floor as he sees them puff in ecstasy.

Your smile falters seeing how anxious he was for one.

"Jimin" you call out gently.

His eyes tear away from them at lightning speed and his face appears flustered.

"I- eh- the rain is coming down heavily, huh?" He said, a little shocked from you being there.

"Ah- Yeah, it is" you agree, seeing his panicked eyes and flushed cheeks.

As well as noticing his stuttered words.

"You want to play a game of pool? I'm really good now, I've been playing the snapchat version on my phone for weeks now" you smile.

"Yeah, yeah that would be fun" he said, his nerves calming down.

But all Jimin really wanted to do was go up to his room and light one up to calm his shaky and nervous self.
