The room as dark as sullen clouds before the sun. Huge and well furnished. Sapphire's blurry vision cleared up a little but she gently held her head that was aching like hell. A soft groan escaped through her dried lips. She couldn't help but to wonder, where on Earth she was. The master-sized bed she laid on was bigger than the one she is used to.

Sapphire gently pulled her twinging body up and checked through the windows. The sky was beginning to brighten with daylight as it was just dawn. She pepped through the transparent glasses that wasn't clear enough but it looked as if she was in a mansion or something. Sapphire went back to the bed, noticing she's in her unknown place without her phone or hand bag. She rushed to the door immediately and pulled it as gently as possible not to attract other's attention. The door slides open as she passed through, walking out of the room—tiptoeing. Sapphire find her way and decided to escape from whoever must have brought her there.

As if Sapphire felt a scary shadow following her, she looked around fearfully and tiptoed downstairs. She was stunned by how executive the building looked. Just then, she saw some men dressed in black suit standing right in front of her. About to turn back and run, she bumped into Ace.

"A..ce Damien!" Sapphire called his name in disbelief and suddenly passed out.

Ace held her to a side hug and ordered his guys to take her back into the room.

Hours Later...

The burning ray of sun find its way through the window hitting Sapphire's eyeballs as she slowing opened her tired eyes. She felt nothing but soreness until her eyes suddenly widened, to the figure sitting right in front of her.

It was Ace. He was wearing black suit as usual and there were two other guys standing like his bodyguards behind him.

"Where am I?" The words escaped from her shivering lips in soft whisper.

"She's awake. Good job guys. You can now leave us now." Ace muttered as the other guys walked out of the room.

"I just asked you a fucking question Ace! Where am I?!" She sat upright "Why the hell did you kidnap me?!"

Just then, she felt the heaviness on her wrists. Looking at them, she noticed that her hands were chained to the side of the big, master-sized bed.

"Uh... What's this?!" She huffed out another series of shock.

"You know, you shouldn't raise your voice at me especially when you're just gaining consciousness. Well, the doctor said you'll be alright since your autophobia isn't too serious."

Sapphire wanted to insult him but she chewed on her words once more. As if she was confused about the fact that he knew about her sickness.
"Why am I here?"

"Surprised? Well, I think you need to understand something. You're not in a position to ask questions. You're mine from now on so, it's better you behave yourself, baby."

"W..what? Baby?" She frowned her face at his words as if it was a foreign language.

"Yes, baby." He took out a stick of cigarette and lightened it.
"You're under my care now so, you're going to follow new rules. My rules."

Sapphire watched Ace in surprise. She'd never seen him smoke ever before, or raise his voice at someone. She'd always thought of him as the good guy. The gentle one but right now, it's clear that she's been so wrong about him.

"What the hell are you saying Ac-"

"Shut up! That's rule number 1. Shut up whenever I'm talking." He cut into her words rudely before letting out the smoke from his cigarette pour out if his mouth and nose like a wretched dragon.

"However, I'm nice and gentle so... I'll tell you a secret." He walked close to Sapphire on the bed.

Placing his hands, tracing her a line on her gaw-line seductively but Sapphire tried to slap his hand off her body. A sharp groan whooshed from her mouth as the chains held her back. With this, a victorious smirk played on Ace's slim lips. 

"I know you would do that. That's why you're chained, Saph." He grabbed her tiny body, pinning it down to the soft bed with his, as she struggled to let loose but couldn't.

"Don't think less of me, Saph! I may not be able to tolerate any act of disobedience from you."

"What do you want from me?" She tried unlocking the chains but her all her efforts went in vain.

"I love you, Saph. From the first day I saw you beside Jade in the Cinema. Well, I'm aware of the fact that you're always not comfortable around him. Since it's more like a forced relationship." He placed his hands into his side pocket as he explained things to her.

"Are you gangster, a mop or a Mafia? What are you exactly and where is this strange place?" Her voice shivered as she looked close to tears.

"This is one of my favorite mansion." He smiled. "Well, whatever you call it. As you can see... Yes. It's not something bad. Being a mafia brings lots for responsibilities and could be stressful. Everyone fights for a job like mine and if we don't do well, we will readily be replaced so... I hope you understand why a man like me needs you."

"I'll definitely get of of this hell of a place very soon and I'll get you arrested, Ace!

Ace smile fell into a deep snickering.

"Do you think the police will mess with a mafia just to save a mere elementary school teacher like you?" He laughed out loud once again.

"You've got nothing to offer, baby." He ended his laughter abruptly. I think you've expected too much from others, because you'll be disappointed in here. Like depending on Jade and expecting him to marry you . Well, let me burst your bubble, darling. That's never going to happen. Do you seriously think that Jade or the police would start a war with the mafia just to resume somebody like you? You have nobody anymore. Nobody to hear your cries of help, agony, pain and despair. There's nobody to save you in here except me! So you better love me as soon as possible. Hopefully, within 6 days. If you don't, you'll have no choice than to spend another 6 months with me... The way you've done with my cousin. By next year. You'll decide who to marry between the two of us."

"You're fucking crazy! I would never do that!"

"It's not as if you have a choice here, darling. Even of you don't chose any of us. I'd still come after you because I've chosen you, Saph."

"I hate you!"

"I have no intention of hating you, dearie. But that didn't mean I would act deaf on your abusive words. Remember first rule, shut up. Being angry would just ruin your beautiful face so smile. I must admit, my grandfather did a great job by choosing you. Your gorgeous face, your eyes conveying burning anger, confusion and despair. Your hair... Uh!" He wanted to touch it but Sapphire pulled back in disgust.

A smile escaped his lips as he stared into her eyes again. I think it's my type.

She gave an annoying look at him and rolled her eyes in hatred.

"Don't look give me that look. I've always admired girls with Auburn hair and blue eyes. Apart from being a mafia, I'm a pretty nice guy as you know. The only thing is being ignored which is rule number 3. As long as you don't do that, I'll treat you like a true princess."

"Is that why you chained me to your bed?!"

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you. As it is, this is your room so feel at ease." Ace snapped his fingers as two other guys in plack suit and black trousers walked in.

"Untie her." He commanded as they walked to unlock the chains.

"I would leave you for now so you should take a shower and change." He took at steer look at her before walking out.

The two bodyguards walked after him as they locked the huge iron door that looked like mountain Everest.

She looked up at it as it closed up like a book, looking down, her eyes caught the shadows of the bodyguards. The click of the keys locked the room and their shadows were still there, in dark shades.

It's evident that both of them were to guard her. Sapphire let of an heavy sight as she stared at her sad reflection on the standing mirror before her. She held her wrist that was chained earlier. There was a tint of pink on it from the tightening and struggling she'd been through. She touched it carefully. As she could feel was pain but that wasn't anything compared to what was going on in her mind. All Sapphire could think about was Jade. It's probably noon, now.  I wish I could have lunch with Jade. Just then, a feeling struck her heard as a sharp whoosh escaped from her lips.

"OMG! What condition would Jade be, now? He saw me with Denver the other day, he went drunk dead. What state would be be when he finds out that I'm kidnapped?"

Tears gathered in her eyes as her mouth suddenly went watery and speechless.

"What if... What if he gets drunk again and kills someone, this time?" She sighed heavily, letting her head drop as tears suddenly streamed down her face.

She cupped her palms and cried harder, but silently. As it is, she don't know what torture Ace has for her or what he would do next. Thinking about Ace, her face as a single tear rolled down her check.

"I really need to leave here as soon as possible... I can't spend one more night here."
